WHITE BUFFALO WOMAN SPEAKS; A Sacred Path through Earth Changes

Channeled through Dhyana Markley

Dear Ones,

I scribed this message in the early to mid '90s after attending a Sundance at Pine Ridge Reservation. It was the year when the Ceremonial Tree SPLIT, a first time in the history of the Sundance. A Tree was killed that had not volunteered to be the Sacrificial Tree. She spilled tears on those who rode with her to the ceremonial grounds, where a hole had been dug to hold her base. Then she purposely split as groups of men on both sides were lifting her, now with prayer messages tied to her branches, and attempting to place her in the hole. After she cracked and split, the men lowered her again, then rushed about, wondering what to do next. Chiefs and Elders were consulted and it was decided to bandage the two sections of the Tree which split, together with ropes and fabric to secure it, while they tried once again to place it in the hole.

How do I know all of this? BecauseI was there. While in a pickup truck with a young couple, riding to the ceremonial tree cutting, I burst into tears and didn't understand why. The couple didn't know me well and had concerns as to what caused my unusual outburst.

I asked the inner Masters and found that the female Sacrificial Tree knew she was going to die and didn't want to participate. She had NOT given her permission to be killed and used as the Sundance Ceremonial Tree. Many Tree People around her were very frightened and quivering too. If Native Man would not listen to the Trees anymore or honor them, then they might be next to be indiscriminately killed.

The Tree that had agreed to be cut down stood about a half a mile away and had an Eagle circling it, trying to get the attention of the Chiefs.

I asked that the Ascended Masters intervene. They could not or would not stop the her death by intervening with the Will of Man, but they promised to take her Soul out of her physical body as the first axe started its swing. That calmed her down but did not remove all of her fear.

The Tree was not cut down with just a few swipes of an experienced lumberjack's sharp axe, but with many, many, many cuts and swipes by various men who wanted to share in the killing. Her body cried. One of the Chiefs came out onto the road where I was standing and bewildered, said to no one in particular, "That tree cried on me!" He didn't have a clue as to "Why?"

She was lifted onto a long, flat trailer bed by probably a hundred men or more and the Ceremonial Procession returned to the main Ceremonial Grounds. A young man who rode on the trailer with her told me later that she cried all the way there.

Personally I noticed that a Herd of Horses, which represent "much Power", which had been facing our procession as we traveled toward the Tree, was now running away from us as we returned to the Ceremonial Grounds.

Nature's Blessing of Power was being removed from the Sundance.

Back at the ceremonial grounds, women and children who had spent much of the morning making up Prayer Messages, small square pieces of fabric with tobacco wrapped inside, tied with string or ribbon, were told to give their Prayer Messages to a male, any male, to tie it onto the Tree for them. I wondered why the Chief who instructed this action was splitting the Tribe apart, causing the women and children to feel unworthy to touch the sacred tree and giving the men an undeserved sense of importance; yet another symbol of disconnect from Source.

We also returned to find that the only well that provides Water for the entire ceremonial area was broken and could not be fixed, at least until after the weekend was over; another important symbol. Finally a huge truckload of water was brought in for all to use, after they thoroughly boiled it.

A Rattlesnake was also found among the tents. It was captured and set free in an area well away from the campers. However, I found it as another symbol. Great Spirit was telling these people that they need to change, shed their old skins and come into a new realization about how to act and interact with Nature and All Peoples, especially their own Tribe.

We heard the next day the Chiefs and Elders had been up all night talking about what had happened. I don't know that they ever figured it all out. I certainly hope they did. My small group of four decided we didn't want to participate in this Sundance anymore, and headed for the Black Hills.

I personally think this is why White Buffalo Calf Woman contacted me

to scribe her messages below.

A MESSAGE FROM WHITE BUFFALO CALF WOMAN

Scribed by Dhyana Markley

"I am the One known as White Buffalo Calf Woman.

"There are, however, many others
who work closely with me...
a few of them believe themselves to be me.
If they act and speak with wisdom and truth,
please trust and honor them as you would trust and honor me,
for we all truly are One.

"I have many names but for now will call myself Nanukinawa
or White Buffalo Woman.

"Many generations ago I appeared to the Lakota
when their people were starving and in need
of physical and spiritual guidance.
I brought them the gift of my Pipe
to remind them of my words that day.
But most have forgotten the meaning of those words
even though legends were created about me
so they would remember.

"I come to all of you now as I did then,
during your time of need,
to speak these words once more.

"Dear Ones, your Tribes are broken apart.
You have forgotten many of the Sacred Laws.
Drugs and alcohol have destroyed your health
and opened your auras to entities who manipulate you.
Many egos are out of control and filled with conceit.
Much power is misused and most no longer work together
with respect for each other.

"Dear Ones, many of you no longer honor your Wives
or Husbands, Elders and Medicine People.
Your Children leave or commit suicide because there is no wisdom
or unconditional love to keep them with you.

"Please, Dear Ones, heed my words,
for doing so may set your moccasins back
on A Sacred Path of Oneness.
But you must do the work."

WHITE BUFFALO WOMAN SPEAKS
A SACRED PATH THROUGH THE EARTH CHANGES

"This is the time all have long awaited. Mother Earth is cleaning her robes and all of the Holy Ones are helping her. The Waters are washing her. The Winds blow her dry and scatter the dust. She trembles and transforms the poisons of those who were its cause. Not with anger or ill will does she do this, but in the sacred way of love, compassion and balance. She teaches those who do not understand the Law of Cause and Effect, and perfects those who do understand with even greater experiences. Only those who follow A Sacred Path To Oneness with unconditional love and respect for all, will ascend to walk with her.

This is the time long awaited.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Long ago when I appeared to your ancestors, they were lost and wandering and the people were starving. They had forgotten the sacred ways and lost their connection with many things, especially Great Spirit. Like those of that tribe, the men, women and children of today are lost, wandering and starving not only for food for their bellies, but for their reconnection with Spirit and their own higher selves.

The Red Man has forgotten that he was once White, Black and Yellow. The White Man has forgotten that he was once Black, Yellow and Red. The Black Man has forgotten that he was once Yellow, Red and White. The Yellow Man has forgotten that he was once Red, White and Black. And almost all of mankind has forgotten their connection with Great Spirit, our Brothers and Sisters on other planets and in other Galaxies. Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants, including the Stone People, the Elementals, the Plant People, the Animal People, the Air, the Wind, the Water, the Fire, the Standing Tree People, the Winged Ones, the Dolphins, the Whales and all of the other Creatures of the Seas, Land and Air... and especially our Brothers and Sisters of Inner Earth.

It is time to remember.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

It is time to raise all eyes to the night sky and recognize the Great Sacred White Buffalo. Dear Ones, when you see the three stars that make up the Belt of Orion and and an equal distance above and below the belt, the planets of Betelgeuse and Rigel, then you will be gazing at the backbone and ribs of the Great Sacred White Buffalo. Follow the left star of Orion's Belt to Sirius, that is the tail. Follow the right star of Orion's Belt, the same distance as to Sirius, and you will find its head the and seven planets of Pleiades. These thirteen planets make up the Great Sacred White Buffalo.

This is a reminder that we are only a small part of a much greater plan in the Dream of All That Is. Remember also that the beings of those planets and others, are our Brothers and Sisters and that thirteen is a sacred number.

Look to the sky and the Great Sacred White Buffalo.
Remember who you are and that thirteen is a sacred number.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

For a long time, Dear Ones, you have lived under the illusion that you were the only beings of importance to GOD, the Original Creator, All That Is and the Great Spirit that flows from this Creator. It is now time to open your hearts and uncover your eyes for you are only one of trillions upon trillions, upon trillions of conscious beings that inhabit All That Is. It is time for all to forget your bigotry towards those who are different. It is time for all to give up attitudes that keep you from living in your true Self-Realized and GOD-Conscious states. It is time for all to give up attachments to things that have no real value or meaning in life and once again become one with your Brothers and Sisters, no matter what their form. Dear Ones, it is time for all of the parts of All That Is to live in harmony and to work together as ONE.

Open your hearts and become one
with your Brothers and Sisters.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Men, it is time for you to know and experience women as your equals and as partners in the building and sustaining of A Sacred Path To Oneness for all. Do not be fearful that women will take from you anything that is truly important, for they cannot. No longer express violence towards them or any other. Know that with an open heart and through communication you will gain awareness of the female side of yourself and come into harmony with it and therefore all women. This will bring Self-Realization and God-Consciousness.

Men, do not fear or harm women or others.
Love them and come to know them and yourself.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Women, it is time for you to step forward with confidence, self-love and self-respect and to walk side by side with all men. Do not resent the past. Heal the past and live in the Now, build toward a new future with an open heart and unconditional love for all. Communicate with all men with your heart open and try to understand that they are different, yet the same. The are interested in the "bottom line" in all communications. Through your harmonious living with men, you will come to know the male side of yourself. This will bring Self-Realization and God-Consciousness.

Women, heal the past, walk with confidence beside all men
and build toward a new consciousness with an open heart.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Good parents, please remember that there will come a time when giving to and doing things for your children best be greatly diminished. All children must one day learn to stand in responsibility as loving and caring adults and to return those gifts to their parents and others. It is important that you allow them to grow in fullness into loving and caring people just as you were allowed to do. To not give them this opportunity might cause them to take you and others for granted and to encourage selfishness in them which will reflect out in many ways into the community and the world. One learns how to care about people by caring for them.

Remember too that if you allow children to live in your lodge more than one year after their eighteenth birthday, it often delays their maturity, ability to handle responsibilities and encourages them to become lazy husbands and wives. However, all people must do that which their heart and knowing tells them is right and best in every Now.

Parents, allow your offspring to grow into
loving, caring and giving adults and
be firm when it is time for them to leave the lodge.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Grandmothers, let your children and the wives and husbands of your children live their lives without your advice, unless you are asked. Remember when you were their age and wanted to make all of your own decisions. Find satisfaction in knowing that that part of your life is finished and find joy in creating a new life for yourself and your husband.

Share your wisdom and experience with the village when it is appropriate, and when it is not use your wisdom and experience to help those who need and want it. Consider sharing yourself with the children of the tribe and teach them. They will find wisdom and calmness in your loving presence and you will find new life and energy in theirs.

Grandmothers, let your loved ones live their lives without
interference. Find new ways to share the gifts you wish to share.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Grandfathers, let your children and their families live their lives without your advice, unless you are asked. Remember how you felt about unsolicited advice when you were their age. Be content that that part of your life is finished and find joy in creating a new life for yourself and your wife. Know also that it is all right to cut the purse strings when your children are grown, but that it is also all right to give to those in need, IF it is truly a gift from the heart and not to control or manipulate anyone.

Grandfathers, remember how you once felt about unsolicited advice and manipulation. Find new ways to give and share the gifts you wish to share.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Mothers, Fathers, Grandmothers, Grandfathers and all village members... show love and respect to each other and to all Children. Remember how, when you were a child, you appreciated love and respect from your Elders. Patiently teach the little ones all things in which they express interest. Show your enthusiasm for things that you know they will need to know and perhaps they will be enthusiastic about learning that also. If you do this, your rewards will be manifold. In their learning they will gain self-respect as well as love and respect you, their teachers.

Dear Ones, share your spiritual lives with the Children of your family, the village, from the moment they are born, for the loving and knowing Indigo, Rainbow and Crystal Children being born now have much to offer the tribe. Encourage them to remember and to write down their dreams, emphasizing the key words and symbols they remember about the dreams and their feelings during their dreams. For those willing to share this information, discuss all of the dreams the following day as a group. Know that dreams are a very important part of everyone's spiritual life and often help you to solve problems and to better understand your physical life. Dreams also will prove to each and everyone of you that you are a multidimensional being living many lives at the same time and a more powerful and aware being than you have, perhaps, ever imagined.

Give the children tasks to do daily for the family, for the tribe and for the village. This will give them a sense of belonging and of being a contributing, valuable member of these groups. This will also teach them responsibility.

Give not the children your throwaways to learn upon, but share the materials and tools that you use. Teach them the value of those tools and materials so that they will know from your actions that you honor and respect them. Expect them to always do their best.

Patiently teach, discuss dreams and show enthusiasm
to the young ones of your tribe and they will contribute greatly.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Children, life is filled with many things which may be perceived as good or bad. People and situations are not good or bad, in and of themselves, but their actions may help or hurt someone. Some people may do things that other people do not like for them to do, but as Soul everyone has been given Free Will by the Creator God or All That Is and is allowed to express that Free Will without judgment by that same Creator God. Soul is allowed and even encouraged to experience the many things necessary to help it grown mentally, physically and spiritually, to eventually find its place in a position of love, wisdom, understanding and tolerance. When one does all things with joy and gratitude, the pains of life will be minimal.

Know, Blessed Young Ones that the grown ones in your life are doing the best they can at any given moment. Know also that they cannot yet read your minds and do not know what you most desire or need, and so you must tell them or ask for their help. Do this in a loving and respectful way and you will have all that you need. Perhaps not all that you want, but all that you truly need.

Do not be lazy, for those who do not contribute to the tribe are not respected and if laziness continues, you may be sent from the protection of the family, tribe or village. However, if a tribe member is not willing to work for the good of the tribe, it might be necessary for the tribe as a whole, to find out why. For every member of the tribe is a reflection of that tribe. What can the tribe as a whole do to help the lazy tribe member to find joy in his work? Remember, it often takes some amount of conflict to spiritually grow, but harmony and cooperation are essential for the smooth running of any tribe, village or community.

Children, ask for what you need with respect and gratitude.
Be also understanding and tolerant of adults, for they mean you well.
Be not lazy and always remember....
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

HumanPeople, honor all of your Elders, for they carry the memories of many experiences and wisdom learned from those experiences. Wisdom is timeless and benefits all. Yet know and always allow those who need to, to have their own experiences, for this is the only way many learn.

Feed your Elders, clothe them and keep them warm. Give them something easy to do to keep their minds active and their hands and bodies busy so that they may not imagine themselves to be a burden to the family or tribe. When they are sick or too weak to do for themselves, nurse them until they are once again well or until the time that they pass into another realm.

Remember that one day you will be elderly and appreciate compassion and gentle concern being given you, as well as the respect given when you are asked to share your wisdom with those of less experience.

Honor and care for your elders and benefit from their wisdom.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Human People, collect organic heirloom seeds (those notpoisoned with chemicals, hybrid or genetically altered) of as many different plants as you can. Many seeds have been sterilized in an effort to make them more resistant to insects and disease. Non-heirloom seeds could easily cause hunger and starvation in the future and force many peoples to give their power of life away to those controlling seed sales and distribution. Rarely do those who distribute genetically modified seeds have the best interests of all Human Peoples in their heart. Instead it is a trick to enslave.

Dry, can or jar and store foods enough for six months to a year for your family, for it is possible a time might come when healthy food and clean, living water will be less plentiful. Rotate these foods and water so that the oldest is used first and the freshest is used last. In this way you will know that the food you have stored is less likely to rot or cause sickness before it is consumed. Mormon communities have very good information on how to prepare and store foods for long time storage.

Build greenhouses about six feet into the ground, below the freeze level, and in ares that will receive plenty of sun yet provide some protection from high winds. Or you may prefer to plant healthy, fast growing trees on the prevailing wind or windward sides of your greenhouses, so that winds will be sent over the structures rather than damage them. With the Jet Stream dropping near to the ground in some areas, winds may reach well over 120 miles per hour in the future, so it is good to plan ahead and protect the food so vital to your survival. One benefit of a greenhouse is that water may be better utilized, used more sparingly. Also, insects, fungus and other diseases will be more easily controlled in a greenhouse environment.

It would be beneficial to set rain barrels at the corners of all buildings, to catch rain from the sloped gutters placed on roof edges. Perhaps you might direct that rainwater from the barrels into family houses or greenhouses, for easier access. It will be important to cover the barrels so there is less evaporation and so that animals will not fall in or drink from them. There may come a time when water must be used sparingly, so please take care to plan for that possibility. ( * More below.)

It could be beneficial to learn how to collect the dew from plants and the ground, usually after the sun has gone down, then teach this to others. One day it may save your life.

The U.S. Air Force and Boy Scouts of America have instruction manuals to teach you how. Plan in advance how you might gather, filter and purify water from many different sources. Perhaps even dig a hole, cover it with a stretched plastic tarp, weighed down in its center (and along its edges so the tarp does not collapse into the hole), with heavy rocks. Dew gathers under the tarp, a large bowl placed directly under the middle rock and tarp, can catch the drips. If it rains during your "dew gathering" you get a double benefit and can also use the water on top of the plastic tarp as well as the drippings into the bowl below the tarp. WARNING: Do not place your dew water trap on any path or trail used by humans or animals, since this would create a hazard. Planning ahead and practicing a dry run will help to expose anything that might prevent your plan from running safely and smoothly.

If you plant open gardens, consider planting enough for the animals to share outside of the fence around your plot. Remember: Deer can easily jump over most fences and invade your garden. They will be grateful and more likely leave your crops and fences alone. Learn also natural remedies for garden pests that are not toxic to humans or animals. It is very important to grow all food organically.

During times of high winds, floods or other disasters, families needing some sort of shelter may choose to dig ditches high above any water level and away from water flows (or create a flow ditch around the main ditch, which will divert most water away from the main ditch you want to keep moisture free).

Build these ditches in an East/West direction so that there is a constant flow of fresh air, dig them six to eight feet deep by six feet wide and twelve feet long. Cover these ditches with log beams and plywood.... cover the wood with plastic sheeting or tarps and cover everything but the entrances at each end with three feet of dirt. Make sure the entrances are constantly kept clear, create good ventilation, are well protected from the elements and animals, and easy to open and lock down from inside. Sharp rocks may be glued to the entrance door, to make it look more natural and to keep animals from laying on them. The walls may be secured by wood braces and plastic stapled to them or by boxes of food and tools piled high. Don't forget to place ladders at both ends, for easy access and exit. Wood pallets may also be used to keep everything off the floor and dry

Empty caves or abandoned mines might be considered safe places to be in times of disaster. Close off and /or reinforce these cave and mine entrances, so Mother Earth's moving will not collapse them. Then fill your new home with canned foods, dried foods in thick plastic or glass containers, plenty of water (check on your cave and change the water every other week... be sure to clean the containers before refill... date this task on each container with a wax pen.) You will also need candles, lanterns and fuel, flint, matches, bedding in waterproof, tightly sealed plastic containers like locking trash bins, medicines, portable potties with toilet paper or two potty rags per person, which can be cleaned and reused. Don't forget your tools and any other essential survival items you can think of. Hang items that animals might use as food or bedding as high on the beams as you can. Work together and share the use of these areas, for a community is not built, rebuilt or sustained by just one individual or family.

Human People, prepare for adventures and share.
Disaster may not come into your life
but it is always good to come together and prepare.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Dear Ones, the sacredness of Tobacco has been violated and it must be given time to heal. Without its permission, Tobacco had been manipulated to addict and destroy instead of uplift. Abuse and misuse have dishonored it and Tobacco pierces holes in the human aura to eventually sicken and kill the user. Tobacco was to be kept holy and used only in ceremony. New herbs must now be found and used for all Sacred Ceremonies, while Tobacco is allowed to heal.

Dear Ones, let your Medicine People and Spiritual Leaders choose a
new herb or group of herbs to uplift you in your ceremonies and carry
your messages to Great Spirit and the Ancient Ones.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Sweet HU-man People, it is time for all of the beings of All That Is to live in harmony. No true Sacred Path will tolerate the misuse of power, such as Black Magic, and conflicts which damage the harmony of the tribes, communities and nations. Nor will it allow the destruction of another's self-respect or place in the community. However, do not be tricked into fighting against these things, for your attention gives more power to them. That which you resist will persist. Instead, with unconditional love and good will, help others find that which they are best at and support them in their contribution, for every service and every single individual is of greater value to the whole than anyone can imagine.

Remember, all who cannot live within the arms
of unconditional love, will eventually pass away.
Remember also, that which you resist will persist.
Live in harmony, do not misuse power, and honor every being.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Many have asked me, "What is unconditional love?" Unconditional love is that love which allows each individual the freedom and support to be that which they need to be to become Self-Realized and God-Conscious. Unconditional love allows others to make decisions for themselves, to learn from those choices and experience the consequences be they perceived as good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant. Unconditional love honors the desires and achievements of others as long as it does not oppose the good of the whole. Unconditional love is not destructive to the consciousness of another or in conflict with another individual's freedom of choice.

Dear Ones, make it your intent to live every minute of your lives
tolerant of others, with an open heart and unconditional love
for everyone and everything.
If you do, our planet will at last, be a Paradise.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. WE are all One.

Dear Ones, those who disagree with another individual, a small group or a majority of the tribe, must be respected for their opinions and allowed their say, even the children, for many great teachings will come from the children. However, none shall be allowed to undermine the overall harmony and Oneness of the tribe. It is important that all effort be made by everyone to see and understand all sides of an issue before deciding on a course of action, especially when that action affects the lives of everyone in the village.

Respect the opinions of all and let each have their say,
even the children.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

Those who continue to criticize and tear at the group decisions of the tribe or those who will not contribute to the tribe, if they are mentally and physically able to contribute, may be banished from the village and not allowed to return until they prove willing to live in harmony and Oneness and to contribute their fair share to the community as a whole. Every man, woman and child shall have a vote in this banishment and reentry. The future harmony of the tribe and village will greatly depend upon this.

Harmony will depend upon everyone
having a vote and contributing their fair share.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are all One.

If any member of the tribe is physically, mentally or spiritually injured, handicapped, unhappy or unwell, each member of the tribe is encouraged to show as much kindness, courtesy, tolerance, forgiveness, compassion and helpfulness as they can muster in an effort to lessen their brother or sister's pain or sorrow. Someday it may be you in that place. This is often a period of great learning for the distressed. It is beneficial to all to be of help to someone in need, but not to become a permanent crutch for them. Try not to get too caught up in the problems of others.

Remember, if you react it is your problem.
If they react, it is their problem.
If everyone reacts, it is everyone's problem.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are One.

Tolerate what you can but feel free to walk away when you can no longer help or tolerate a situation and it is not within your power to change.

Show kindness, tolerance and compassion
when someone is in distress or need.
Some day it might be you.
MITAKUYE OYASIN. We are all related. We are One.

Please consider my words carefully and take action on those you consider wise. I am grateful for this opportunity to once again share my thoughts with you.

White Buffalo Woman

As of the mid-2000s, Atmospheric Water Generators are on the market which can make pure drinking water from the air. For more information:

Drought Master's largest unit produces up to 8 gallons/day and has a 55 gallon holding tank which moves or aerates the water to keep it fresh. http://www.droughtmasters.net/index.php?page=Products

EcoloBlue Atmospheric Water Generators have small as well as huge commercial sized units, of greatly varying costs. http://www.ecoloblue.com/

Re: Both brands above and others: It does seem important to consider the end cost per gallon or liter and the amount of water needed and produced , plus how much energy and its availability will be needed to run each unit. Solar Panels or generators may be needed in some parts of the world and when electricity is not available.
