Shifting Sands Of Paradigms

Shifting Sands Of Paradigms

Story by: Julia Griffin

Last year’s solstice brought an influx of light, a palpably new energy with a force of its own. Likely its purpose lies in lifting us out of density and into a higher, magical vibration. Since the light came on the darkest day of the year, I’ve felt the subtle shift into a happier place, a constant reminder of an underlying joy – like the song of the new planet in Narnia.

Perhaps our journey involves the uplifting of our reality to a higher zone, one with less weight of duality. Long ago, the wolves described the earth in the beginning of time. Their stories, passed from one generation to the next, told of a light blue night and a long bright day. They spoke of only one season of spring/summer where nature provided at all times. When I asked what caused the turn of events, the wolves spoke about mankind’s desire to experience duality. They described the first winter with a long hot summer as the first seasons, later punctuated with fall and spring.

Personally I cannot imagine the earth without seasons or the repetition of drama, but I think we’re moving in this direction. Many metaphysicians have described the shift as taking a long time or even generations, but time itself changes in response to our desires. Much of manifestation resides on the premise of wanting “something” enough to experience the inherent change, which is involved in bringing the creation into form. (It’s a homely example but it takes energy to move from one’s current location into the desired home. It takes energy to create a loving relationship or to buy a car. Over the years, I’ve noticed many light workers pulled back when great effort was needed. Wanting something now usually accelerates progress.)

Conversely, I can easily imagine the light and zap of delicious movement into the quantum field. Everyone’s experienced a miracle at least once – with the feeling of the incredible light, the grace and love.  When the quantum field opens, miracles come at the speed of light. There’s no limitation on miracles, on their speed or number.

Hopefully, big change comes through the ability of light workers to tap into the quantum field, and the earth transforms quickly. In the meanwhile, we’re experiencing the birth pangs of higher frequency. Birth pangs bring transformation and transmutation, which are indicated by the number 13 (in 2013) and the snake, the animal of the zodiac in this year’s Chinese New Year.

Changing Paradigms

When “light changes” come, the rules alter. The paradigms take the shape of a new form.  We’re riding on the elevator of higher frequency. On the new floor of consciousness, everything in the world looks the same but nothing works exactly right. In time, we adjust and think it’s the same world. Having said this, it’s likely that we’ll never have that thought. We probably look back in a year and see the world as having changed quite a bit.

For the sake of simplicity, I’m using the shift of the Piscean to Aquarian Age for several of these paradigms. In truth, it involves increased light frequency. These changes are likely to pertain to light workers at this time.

Early religions emphasized the value of sacrifice.  Earlier civilization emphasized sacrifice, whether human, animal or worship before a statue. An element of truth can be found in sacrifice. We continually recycle energy to create new forms. Alchemy teaches that the true formula involves sacrificing the egoic nature to take on the format of the soul.

Religious teachings periodically pervert sacred teachings into a format involving guilt and fear.  In the Piscean Age, it was a blessing to give away all that one had – whether energy, possessions or power. The church/society had need for it. It’s easily seen through the Biblical and physical recordings of statues and ceremonies in the Arian and Taurean Ages through slaughter of goats or other animals and worship of statues of cows and bulls. In indigenous societies, shaman and priestesses/priests chanted spells and magical formulas to bring about change for the group at large.  In exchange, the society took care of the priestess, priest and shaman.

In the Piscean Age, love became equated with giving away of possessions, love or energy as a sacrifice symbolizing one’s connection with the Divine. The concept developed into a strange generosity, involving the giving away of the self, including the desires of the heart and soul, in search for love or salvation. (If one didn’t, the outcome was hell or damnation.)

Major points included:

  1. Giving up the desires of the individual soul to serve others.
  2. Participation meant receiving support of the church, society and the Divine.
  3. Revoking abundance or giving great abundance to the church (or non-profit) as an indication of personal involvement. (Vows of poverty)
  4. Energy workers received support and care for providing energy as sustenance for a cultural group.

The New Paradigms

Before delving into the new paradigms, it’s important to note that the old paradigms may have held value for our evolving group consciousness. As the light level grows, it’s important to stretch our beliefs and collective vision of truth.

This is what’s been coming up for me lately:

  1. Rather than giving all away, it’s important to keep energy for the development of the soul.  What does the soul want? What does the inner child want? By following these desires, we collect light for creativity, joy and self-development. We also forge a path for others following behind us.
  2. Light workers once gave everything away to heal and help others. With the current energies, we must take care of the self to have something to share. Illumination is more than taking care of the soul or expressing inner desires; it involves a path of exercise, diet and joy.
  3. Collecting light is a phrase expressing the necessity of self-love.  Scientific research shows how the DNA collects, shares, dispenses or stores light. By storing the light of the soul and vitality (Chi) in the physical body, we access the path to greater co-creation. (It’s easier to shape light in form when the energy level is higher.)
  4. The discovery of the real function of energy is part of our awakening. The catch phrase of the past decade “everything is energy” became outdated. The importance lies in observation and understanding of energy. What depletes it? What increases it? What is the opening movement of the soul that leads into the flow? These are questions meriting review on a daily basis.
  5. The concept of abundance and prosperity is changing with the growth of consciousness. Once light workers gave away everything to benefit others, receiving care and abundance in return. As the paradigm shifts with the time, it’s important to understand our capacity to create prosperity by truly wanting it (and not asking for “enough” or making it unimportant.) This involves reviewing and changing personal beliefs, but it’s a coming shift in consciousness. It’s also important to entertain the idea of light workers with great abundance, which would cause an increase in the vibration of money, itself.
  6. Finding God/Goddess/the Universe within. The real God/Goddess resides within us. Love and acceptance for the inner self gives courage to move forward in a changing world. It arouses seeking within the heart for a higher vibration and alters the path of our walk in life. More importantly, it gives energy and direction.
  7. Group consciousness and the world view. For the longest time, we’ve judged and hated the substance of darkness, chaos and fear in the outer world. Sometimes it flows into our inner world through the voices of people in the check-out line, the people that we work with, our clients and students or our loved ones. It’s good to forgive it and see something differently. Also, we judge the people in our lives in a slightly ironic way. Truth brings about the understanding of everyone’s lower and higher side. Our eyes open as we move more deeply into the light. It’s important to focus on the higher self, the fabric of light in everyone, rather than seeing their faults.
  8. Ask questions. Don’t supplicate. When we ask questions, the universe answers. For example, how does it feel when I experience a higher frequency? How does feel when I am in love or vitally healthy? How does it feel when money pours into my life? How do I feel when I’m totally connected to the Divine?
