Feng Shui Your Way into Prosperity in 2014!

Feng Shui Your Way into Prosperity in 2014!

Story by: Irene Freitas

Energy is dynamic and fluid. It is constantly moving and when you are in its flow you feel a deep connection to your authentic self, Spirit, and everyone and everything around you. When you are not moving with the flow, you feel tense, disconnected, and even unlucky.
The essence of Feng Shui is to help you consciously align with the flow of energy or Chi, so that you not only feel more connected, but you are able to manifest prosperity, health, and overall spiritual and mental well-being into your life.

The Black Hat Tradition

There are three main schools for Feng Shui. The Form School, which is considered the oldest school of Feng Shui, is primarily focused on the placement of objects to allow the appropriate flow of Chi. The second school is the called the Compass, which uses numerical calculations and sometimes birthdates to determine the proper flow of energy. Finally, there is the “Black Hat” tradition that focuses on Color, Energy, and Intuition to help align the Chi within you and your home.
In the Black Hat Tradition, alignment is a co-creative process. It will not only help you to manifest a prosperous life, it can also help to change your energy and your consciousness.

Bring in Prosperity for the New Year

Another element that is unique to the Black Hat method of Feng Shui is that you can balance a space within a space, not just the overall home. So every room in your home has a prosperity, fame, and relationship area. Looking at the diagram of Ba’gua shown above, note how each area is also associated with a color.

If you want to bring in more prosperity into your life, then take the Ba’gua and stand at the front door of your home. Your front door should be either in the “Knowledge,” “Career,” or “Helpful People” section. Then, locate the Prosperity section of your home and distinguish if there is clutter or disorganization in the area. Take note of neglected space, or if the energy feels stagnant or even chaotic.

What You Should Always Do First
Since clutter causes energy to stagnate, you’ll want to de-clutter, clean, and organize this area of your home.

Next, it’s time to work on color. Color has vibrational qualities that will help to align your environment with your intentions; notice that prosperity is associated with the color purple. For example, you could decorate the with a plant with pretty purple blooms, or maybe you have a painting whose primary color scheme is purple. You can also add pictures that represent prosperity, gold coins, citrine crystals, and amethyst crystals. But don’t overdo it! Keep it simple and keep it clean.

Now that your space is clean and organized, sit in the prosperity area of your home and observe how you feel.

Feng Shui A Co-Creation

Now it’s time to take manifesting prosperity to the next level. Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. A silver colored box (you can always paint a box with metallic paint).
  2. A red piece of paper, felt, or cloth to fit in the bottom of the box.
  3. A pen and paper.
  4. A clear intention.

Feng Shui works best when you consciously align your environment with a strong and clear intention, so while sitting in the prosperity area of your home think about what you want to create in the New Year and write it down.

Then line the bottom of the box with the red paper, felt, or cloth and place your intention inside.

Close the lid and place it somewhere in the Helpful People section of your home and leave it there for about 6 months. Doing this will help to create an energy of expansion so that you attract benefactors and other people who are willing to be helpful.

Do this exercise and be open to the flow of Chi and prosperity into your life! Happy New Year!
