Welcome to Oz

Welcome to Oz

Story by: Julia Griffin

When Dorothy journeyed from Kansas to Oz, she left the flat, gray plain and soared into a land of colorful magicians. Everyone held a form of power or knowledge—even the silly scarecrow. The Munchkins gave directions. Good outweighed evil. When the Wizard of Oz revealed his true identity, his series of actions led to Dorothy’s realization of her own true power.

New energy came in with the autumnal equinox, shifting everything. The energy feels wonderful when it comes in and lifts everything up to a new dimensional paradigm. It feels like sinking into a flat reality when the energy leaves. It comes and goes at its own rate, but it’s certainly changing everything—and may even bring the magic of Oz.

In many ways, the world of Oz was reversed from our reality. Ordinary people were more powerful than icons like witches or wizards. Powerful forces like Glinda, the good witch, floated in at intervals, and animals talked. Inanimate objects like scarecrows and a tin man had feeling and thoughts. In a few words, everything had value, and things like a good heart, true thoughts, and emotions like valor counted a great deal.

In many ways, Oz is like the unseen world in which animals do talk. Inanimate objects like crystals hold power, and the vaunted humans, who hold power, may hide behind a screen like the Wizard of Oz—or melt on contact with water.  Much is hidden in the invisible world, and the new energies bring the gift of perceiving the substance behind the veil if we want to see and know more.

Working with the Veil

The “veil” hides the interplay of energy behind physical reality. Sighting auras, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and sending energy are examples of using energy that reflect this skill. The skill is also applicable with animals, plants, and crystals. It comes from our relationship with energy.

Everyone has the ability to penetrate more deeply into the unseen world—to heal in some way and also to bring light to the planet. Our ability to find our gift comes from devotion to the inner self.  It also takes dedicated practice and a desire for the best and highest good.  (If you don’t know what to do to share your light, think good thoughts. Smile at other people when you feel a connection. If you see something good, pass it on.)

Techniques such as meditation and a sincere heart can quickly lead to inner realization. Alchemy recognizes nature as the best of teachers. In nature, there is a feeling of life and love. When we meditate in nature, the natural world actually corrects our visualizations and thoughts. Notice the flow of the trees, the sound of the breeze, and the motion of the animals. There is always a message if we take to listen.

Everything Reversed

Our current (outer) world holds the pattern of Kali Yuga, the lowest point in duality. Work is more important than reflection or play. Having extravagant abundance drives many people as does status and outer appearance. Children are ignored and attend school all day while mothers work. Nature is ignored in our quest for the mechanical/material world. More people tune in together for the nightly news than come together in visualization and prayer.  It’s the opposite of how it should work.  (If you’re reading this, it probably doesn’t apply to you. I’m speaking of the world in general.)

It takes frequent meditation to keep positive energy flowing, and it takes effort to always see the good in others. The same is true about health and abundance. It takes a great deal of energy to move through the flow of the negative energy generated by mass consciousness. (We can always ask for a higher vibration and visualize this.)

Regardless of this, I am hopeful because I hear the creatures speak. They believe in the power of our spirits and our ability to envision a world quite different from the one we experience. As homely as this practice may seem, we can generate good in our lives. We can create a positive flow of energy around us. When we become successful with these small steps, we can do the same for others.

We can also share our limited wisdom. In this strange pattern of coming together—of group initiation—it seems everyone holds a different piece of the pattern. Some people see the future in a better way. Some create inventions to make it better. Others understand the power of sound, herbs, or water to lift our vibration.

Finding Your Way

When we substantially lift our vibration, we find the inner self and the beauty of the resonance between the heart and true inner patterns. We discover our hidden, inner dreams; we begin to connect with others in a more harmonious way.  We meet new people, who amplify our positive vibrations and help in finding a voice for expression.

In other words, we find encouragement and support. We find a new way of expressing our inner rhythm. New creations, which bring harmony, come from nature, elementals, and angels. They are woven from the fabric of the seen and unseen worlds. (We can find this with true intent.)

In the midst of this group initiation—which can feel crazy or wonderful depending on the placement of consciousness and who we encounter—we can always smile. We can share our light. We can see the planet as a better place, and we can find the inner power to change it.

It sounds so simple, but we can focus on our heart and the positive while staying realistic about the problems in our lives. We can refrain from dredging up our pasts, which are often laden with anger and resentment. We can focus on our power to create an incredible future. And we can ask questions like, “What does it feel like when I am happier?”

Awaken Now!

Questions invoke an answer from the universe. When we stay focused on the feeling of our heart, unconditional love, or quantum healing, the answers are quite different from those that occur when we focus on fear, unhappiness, and the state of the world. Why not focus on hope, peace, and love—or the amazing ability of human beings to create harmony when connected to the heart and soul?

We’re awakening from a sleep, which was centuries long. When we awaken from sleep, we often confuse what is real. According to nature, we have extraordinary powers. When we ask to learn about our powers and how to use them, our ability to co-create escalates. (Imagine a million people seeing the world as good and wonderful—or simply remaining in refrain with their inner being!)

It’s also important to remember the ending of the story of Oz. When Dorothy found her true power, she returned home. In metaphysics and folklore, home always represents the union of spirit and ordinary life. We travel into the fantastic to learn and back into the ordinary to apply the transformative lessons. When many of us practice this, we create a new world.
