Laura Bertram’s Path around and with the Six Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies
This title really piqued my interest due to the fact that the word Solfeggio looks like a word on the piece of music called “Solfeggietto” by Bach so; I was very intrigued to know more. A couple of things immediately jumped out at me. It is really interesting that these original tones were part of another musical scale used before the 14th century and that the Catholic Church knew about them but, today claim the chants that were written with them are lost.
I liked this piece so much that I learned this piece on the Piano even though I took lessons on the accordion.
So what more have I discovered and how have I been using these Solfeggio Frequencies? The first thing was to purchase Tuning Forks of these six frequency tones. I did this through a company called SomaEnergetics. David Hulse has been working with these six frequencies for quite a few years now and has created a way for others to use them in energetic work. You can read his story on SomaEnergetics.com and in his book, Fork in the Road — All this will give one a history and insight into what science is finding out about these frequencies.
“For example, the third note, frequency 528Hz, relates to the note MI on the scale and derives from the phrase “MI-ra gestorum” in Latin meaning “miracle.” Stunningly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!”

Once I received the tuning forks, I started playing with them. I just knew there was/is something special about these tones. I received feedback from my friend, Rina who has a gift for feeling intense energies from objects and who is a Reiki Master and Teacher. Rina, when hearing these tones for the first time knew there was something really special going on. Right from the time I received them in the mail, the energies of these six tones communicated with me. Their first request was that I make their holder out of Cedar Wood. I did this — below is a picture of the holder.
Every day, I tuned each fork—I wanted more people to have the opportunity to hear these tones, I made a CD recording of the tones starting with the Love Signal 528Hz – I started handing these CDs out to my friends and family. I am a Reiki Practioner and participate in a Reiki Circle — I started bringing the six Solfeggio tuning forks to our circle each week; everyone just loved hearing these tones. I learned from the information I was reading, that these particular six tones are not on our instruments here in the Western world. (This especially applies to pianos — string instruments, because of our tuning methods) The six Original Solfeggio Frequencies listed above have no place in our 12 tones equal temperament scale. Consequently, the brains of most of us do not have these tones in our database. The CDs I created would bring these tones back to our brains database. I handed these CDs out to everyone that would take one.
The Solfeggio Frequency Forks asked for different types of holders.
One day, I started ringing the forks over my two very big Saguaro cacti. I have one in my front yard which I call “Dreams Come True”, and another that lines up with it in the backyard. I have a garden in between. This is all towards the North side of my house. At some point, I realized this is a power corridor. A friend of mine one day asked, if I knew, that the Saguaro cacti are a gift from the Arcturians. I said no, but, it did make me feel that this was a confirmation that something wonderful was/is going on in this space in my yard that has some universal dynamic to it. I continued to play and listen to these tones and direct them to my cacti and the garden area.
The Solfeggio Frequencies lead me to Drunvalo’s books and materials.
It was in 2008 that I came across Drunvalo’s book, Living in the Heart. I knew nothing of the Flower of Life books or material. After reading Living in the Heart, which I liked very much, I asked myself, “Well, this was written in 2003 and we are now in 2008, what has Drunvalo written since then?” That’s when I found the book The Serpent of Light. When I read this book many, many dots started to really connect for me. Many of the places that Drunvalo talked about doing ceremony, I had been to. One of my first trips was to Columbia and Peru with the Sierra Club—a 5 week trip –we hiked the Inca trail went to Lake Tittiaca went out on the floating islands saw the Temple of the Sun and much, much more. My next trip was to Hawaii — Kauai, Molokai and Oahu—It was on Kauai that I hiked with the Sierra Club to the Kalalau Valley. We camped three days on the mile long sand beach that forms during the summer months when the ocean water is out away from the cliffs. Because of this trip, the description of the area on Kauai where the Fourth-Dimensional Ceremony of the Transfer of Power from the Male to the Female took place, I could feel like I was standing right there as the ceremony was taking place.
When I read Serpent of Light, it was the first time, I tied my experiences of Peru to my experiences of Hawaii — I also encountered information around Crystal Skulls in this book. Up to this point, I would avoid anything that had to do with skulls or crystal skulls; not that it surfaced much but, when it did, I chose not to look deeper because there was fear and uncomfortable feelings. After reading about the 13 crystal skulls, I came away with a whole different perspective. It was soon after this that I met the crystal skull, Synergy. Sherry Whitfield Merrill, came to the East-West Exchange bookstore in Chandler, Arizona. My experience was one of Pure Love around, Synergy and Sherry. As Sherry told us more and more about Synergy, I just knew in a past time I had encountered Synergy and worked with the information it is carrying. I bought a small crystal skull, carved by a Mayan elder that had sat in the presence of Synergy according to Sherry for quite a bit of time. Little Synergy started talking to me right away. It wanted to sit in different places at my house. It wanted to go with me when I went certain places etc. I purchased the DVD called Echoes From the Ages-Talking Story with Crystal Skulls. In this DVD Sherry shared some specific ways to work with a crystal skull. I learned this and used this process with the Solfeggio Frequency Forks and what is described as the Great Diagonal. Before I get into the Great Diagonal, I need to connect some more Remembering.
After, Serpent of Light, I read Jonette Crowley’s book The Eagle and the Condor. Some of the experiences described in her book follow experiences Drunvalo describes. For me, our family has a strong connection with birds especially, the Raven. The name, Bertram, means Bright Raven in German. My Grandfather, Joseph F. Bertram researched this; he actually created plaques with a metal cutout of a Raven with the name Bertram. He presented this to all my family members.
When I was in Peru, I learned about South America and the Condor and of course knew about the Eagle and North America. In 1995, I was gifted with an Eagle Kachina from my Mother, she had won this Kachina in a raffle. It stands about 3ft. tall. See picture below. My Mother, Vera, passed in 1995. After reading Drunvalo’s book Living in the Heart and Serpent of Light, I found out that Drunvalo lived in Sedona, AZ and gave workshops there. I wanted to attend one of his workshops—this was 2008. I got the registration form, realized that I needed to read The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life books vol. 1 and vol. 2 before I could hang with the information Drunvalo would be presenting. I got the books. I was and still am resonating with this material. Learning about sacred Geometry was/is huge for me.
Reading about Drunvalo’s experience in Cuzco, Peru at San Agustin Hotel was amazing. I stayed in this hotel and as I was reading this part in the book, I was preparing to go on a Dolphin trip (Nov. 2009) in the Sea of Cortez. I attended my first Drunvalo workshop in July 2009.—Earth/Sky Living in the Heart. At this Earth/Sky workshop, I brought the six Solfeggio Frequency tuning forks with me along with the little crystal skull, Synergy. Synergy had embedded itself in a little red candle heart, laying it’s head on its left side. I had both these items on the altar during the workshop and shared a little around the Solfeggio Frequencies with others. While attending this workshop, I made my way into the small sacred space of my heart. I realized at this time, the white horse that showed up in my gateway meditation around the adrenals, is an angel of mine — it put on wings to show me this. It was/is this beautiful angel horse (named Tonto – meaning Indulgence Devotion); and the small crystal skull, Synergy, that lead me into the small sacred place of my heart. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
The Solfeggio Frequencies open my inner guidance and intuition.
What surfaced next took me by surprise. I attend a group where we each connect and work with our own inner guidance and intuition. At one of these gatherings the six Solfeggio Frequencies showed up in my special sacred spot, at the top of Mt. Hoffman; one of my favorite places over the years when I was hiking in Yosemite. Then too, many times when meditating, I would energetically travel to the top of Mt. Hoffman. During this particular gathering meditation, I again energetically went to Mt. Hoffman. Six robed energies appeared, but I didn’t know what they represented at the time. There was also, a little person – child playing a violin. Within a month’s time, I realized they are the energies of the six original Solfeggio Frequencies. Their energy color is a Rose Pink even though their energies are robed in Brown. These energies now reside in the small sacred space of my heart.

Now back to the Great Diagonal. I attended a talk on Peru given by Jorge Luis Delgado. (Jorge Luis Delgado wrote the book Andean Awakening, however, it was not published at the time of this talk) Most of what he shared, I had heard before but, what caught my attention was his mentioning a Great Diagonal that runs from Mt. Tunupa in Bolivia to Mt. Shasta in California. I tried to get more specifics from Jorge but, he did not have much. I was asking if there was a map that showed the points this Diagonal ran through. I was especially interested to know if a particular geographical point in Mi Wok Village, California was on the great Diagonal. The one piece that Jorge did supply was, the points on the Great Diagonal were spaced equally. Meaning, points one and two were the same distance apart as any two points e.g. eight and nine, e.g. 150 and 151. My inner knowing just knew the place I was referencing is on this Diagonal. I needed to go there and re-establish the earth symbols on this point. (The Song Upon the Wings of an Angel – on the CD of Solfeggio Frequencies tells of my initial experience at this point on Mother Earth. (I know now it woke up a deep memory) It was in April 2010, that I started using the six Solfeggio Frequencies tuning forks and the small crystal skull Synergy on the Great Diagonal. I started point one at Mt. Tunupa in Bolivia and continued for 151 days for a total of 151 points ending at Mt. Shasta in California.
Unfolding more energies with the use of the Solfeggio Frequencies.
What I did: Balanced and Re-Connected each point.
First there was a gathering of a group of souls and energies from many dimensions—they always came. I toned each Solfeggio tuning fork and I saw the breath of myself connected to this whole group’s breath through Synergy (crystal skull); using the process Sherry Whitfield Merrill describes in her DVD, Echoes From the Ages-Talking Story with Crystal Skulls. (opening the Reticular Activating System in each of us). I know the Great Diagonal is a starting and ending point that Mother Earth’s ley lines attach to. Most of the days this took place, I was in Arizona sitting at my table looking out into my yard – garden with my two Saguaro cacti. The last couple of weeks, I was in California. After the 151st day — I found myself hiking to the top of Mt. Hoffman in Yosemite National Park to do ceremony with the Sollfeggio Frequencies at the top. It excited me to be there because many specific details fell into place for me. I was to wear a vest I had purchased in 1973 in Peru. (See picture below) At that time, I carried the Solfeggio Frequency tuning forks in Chime form. I loaded the chime and rang them. At some point, I was to only ring the 852HZ fork, Returning to Spiritual Order. I did this and felt the energies shift and lift to a place that Spiritual Order is re-established. Two beautiful Marmots were with me and they knew exactly what was happening and were participating. There is much, much more to the continuing story. From Aug. 4th to Aug.11th 2012, I will be in Yosemite Valley, volunteering at the Le Conte Memorial. I will be toning the Solfeggio tuning Forks especially 852HZ, Returning to Spiritual Order, and my Eagle Kachina will be with me.
