August 2013 - 'Heart Of Creation'
The month of August holds space for a vibration that is out of this world. Everything about it is bigger than life. Between the heat and the light a spark is ignited that shines brightly enough to show us what happens when life meets its peak of expression. The season of the Sun God Lugh, in the Northern climes the awesome beauty of the moment is honored with celebrations that pay homage to the heart of the Sacred Masculine. By the time Lughnassah rolls around, what began on the Imbolc hearth, stands straight and tall, begging all of creation to recognize and be awed by it. As we look upon the miracle, its outer perfection is there to remind us, not of itself, but of the greater mystery that sources all of it and that lives in the deepest recesses of the heart chamber. That secret is no longer hidden. In these times of great change, there is no way to conceal the fact that the point of creation traces its origin to a totally female place. The glorious power of the male, the one who until now came to shed light only upon himself, is in the throes of awakening to the realization that his power comes not from himself, but from the Goddess whose love he stirs whenever he opens his heart in her presence. It is with these thoughts in mind that we welcome you to our August edition. As the fire of the Leo Sun lights up the universal matrix, may everything you find in this month's issue remind you that we are bound to one another in love and that only through the power of love will we find the strength to transmute the darkness and lift our hearts to create a new and better world.
