In this book Dalai Lama presents his research throughout the years on the parallels between science and spirituality. The reason behind this is reaching Unity: one must take both sides into consideration in order to receive a truthful answer. Dalai Lama speaks about Darwinism, karma, quantum mechanics and philosophical insight into the nature of reality, neurobiology and the study of consciousness. His Holiness also speaks to a new approach and a new world vision, where both science and spirituality are brought together to benefit humanity. For that to happen, we must make ethical considerations for both: the rigidity of fundamentalist spiritualism and the boundaries of advancing biotechnology, such as genetic modification.
