The Return Of The Ancestors
In the beginning it was foretold that at the end of this time cycle the people of the Earth would come together again – and that there would come a time when each of the four races would stand before the Creator and have to account for how well they had preserved His original instructions. The Hopi Prophecies often refer to the promises we made never to turn away from Spirit, and never to resort to violence; those instructions were given to all of us. There is only one passage that tells us anything about the lessons that Great Spirit gave to each race before he sent us off to the four directions. Since we have forgotten everything we were told, whether you are red, yellow, black, or white, the following words may remind you of things that were said a long time ago:
”And he said “During the cycle of time I’m going to give each of you two stone tablets. When I give you those stone tablets, don’t cast those upon the ground. If any of the brothers and sisters of the four directions and the four colors cast their tablets on the ground, not only, will human beings have a hard time, but almost the earth itself will die.”
”And so he gave each of us a responsibility – and we call that the Guardianship. To the Indian people, the red people, he gave the Guardianship of the earth. We were to learn during this cycle of time the teachings of the earth, the plants that grow from the earth, the foods that you can eat, and the herbs that are healing so that when we came back together with the other brothers and sisters we could share this knowledge with them. Something good was to happen on the earth.
To the South, he gave the yellow race of people the Guardianship of the wind. They were to learn about the sky and breathing and how to take that within ourselves for spiritual advancement. They were to share that with us at this time.
To the West He gave the black race of people the Guardianship of the water. They were to learn the teachings of the water which is the chief of the elements, being the most humble and the most powerful. When I went to the University of Washington and I learned that it was a black man that discovered blood plasma, it didn’t surprise me because blood is water and the elders already told me the black people would bring the teachings of the water.
To the North He gave the white race of people the Guardianship of the fire. If you look at the center of many of the things they do you will find the fire. They say a light bulb is the white man’s fire. If you look at the center of a car you will find a spark. If you look at the center of the airplane and the train you will find the fire. The fire consumes, and also moves. This is why it was the white brothers and sisters who began to move upon the face of the earth and reunite us as a human family.” *1.
As a white woman, I see how the white race has abused our Guardianship of the fire element. What we could have used to unify and protect has been used to conquer and destroy – and I wonder if those of you who are colored differently can gather any insight into how well your race has preserved its Guardianship? What have your people done with their instructions? – Because we have come full circle. It’s time now to look into our Hearts and ask ourselves, ‘what have we done, and is it too late, or do we still have time to honor the promises we made before we fell into separation?’
Waking up from a dream that began 13,000 years ago, as we open our eyes it’s clear that we are about to be part of an experience for which we have no precedent. But before we can merge into the “glowing light of a unanimous consciousness” everything that we’ve replaced the Original Teachings with, and the world as we know it, will undergo changes the likes of which none of us have ever seen – not in this life, anyway. There’s no sense pretending it can’t happen, nor can we continue to live as we have in the past. Like Mother Earth, we too have to shift.
She’s been through this many times before; we, on the other hand, know very little about it. So the question is, what can we do, and where will our guidance come from in the next few years? The planets appear to be operating in full support of our awakening process, and there are otherworldly influences whose impact, while unpredictable at this point, could very well bless us all. But regardless of how these external forces effect us, if we are to look out upon the events that unfold through our own private window of experience, will we be able to see that what we envision plays a major role in how things turn out? And if the terror of the situation outweighs any sense that underneath it all the Great Shift of the Ages is in fact a rebirth, will we be able to turn that fear into a vision of hope and renewal?
At the risk of hammering a point that must be thoroughly clear to all of you, the same prophesy that tells of us coming together again, also states that it will be the Native People who remind us of what we have known in our Hearts since the beginning. And while one could argue that we have our own teachings to turn to, it doesn’t take much to see that ‘The World’s Great Religions’ have only served to divide us. As we move into Oneness, what makes us think that belief systems that have grown too fond of war, and hatred, and separation have anything to teach us about peace, and love, and Unity?
Aside from that, from a purely practical perspective, our orthodox religious leaders are probably as ignorant as we are when it comes down to knowing what to do at a time like this. If they even have a sense that what they call Judgment Day has finally arrived, no priest, or prelate, or Pope would be able to tell us to do anything but pray. The Native Americans, the great Mayan tribes, the Maori, and the Waitaha are the only ones left on this planet who truly understand the gravity of the situation. Never having turned their eyes away from the Creator, they are also the only ones who remember how to live in peace, or know anything about the wisdom of the Heart, or have any memory of what it’s like to go through a pole shift.
In times of crisis common sense tells us to go to someone who knows more about whatever the problem is than we do, and right now, it is the Indigenous ones who have the power to help us. All of the Elders are acutely aware of this and that is why they are ready to come forward and share what they know with the rest of the world – because it is time, and because they are concerned. According to them, many people could have been saved during the last Shift if only they had known what was going on and if only they had known what to do to prepare themselves for it.
In April 2009, over one hundred Indigenous Elders from all over the world will gather in Northern Arizona in prayer and ceremony to connect with Mother Earth and perform the rituals that will balance the planet and prepare us all inwardly and outwardly for what they know is inevitable. It is also their intent to share the last of the Prophesies with the rest of the world. Knowing this should give us pause to consider the imminence of the pole shift and prompt us to review everything about the way we live – because our role in this is critical – and if we are to play it, many things have to change in a short period of time.
In the course of writing and doing the astrological research that went into this book, what struck me more than anything was the way in which the Indigenous people kept showing up in chart after chart. From the first Pluto transit, to Saturn, and on to Uranus, Chiron, and Neptune every pattern and every symbol held themes that pointed to the Native people as the key to everything that’s going on right now. They were the first, and they are the last because in 13,000 years, never once did they forget their original instructions. Think about that. Even in their suffering they held fast to their teachings. That alone should call us to see that they understand life on a level that most of us never get close to.
This fact became more apparent to me as the astrology of the End Times unraveled. It didn’t take long for me to figure out that what I was seeing had to have been well understood by the original people – thousands of years before I even began to look into it they understood their relationship to the cosmos well enough to foresee that it would be at this time that we would go through a period of trial and purification. And I finally realized that the prophesies and the astrology overlapped, not because it was some kind of amazing coincidence, but because the original people knew so much about their connection to the greater universe they could see through time and space and use that gift to form every single one of their predictions.
If you feel more at home with the thought that the prophesies were seen in the smoke of an ancient fire by a shaman whose visionary gift had the power to embrace 13,000 years of human history, it only loans the Native People more power at this point – because we are about to enter a world where the visionary process, and the imagery that lives in our Hearts and our minds is what we will use to create with. The Indigenous people are the only ones left on this Earth who understand how to work on those levels. What do you suppose they can teach us about the innate power of dreams and visions? That we have a lot to learn from them is unquestionable – especially now, when there are no answers to be found elsewhere.
It’s time to go within and reexamine ourselves. With only five or six years at the most before the poles shift what can we do? I think most of us know what to do, because we’ve examined that question from many different angles as we’ve gone along – but I think there is more that we need to know before we can get clear about what really needs to be done – and that information will soon be revealed in its entirety. As I write these words, I don’t know anything more about what the Native People have to share with us than you do, but if astrology follows prophesy as closely as it seems to I have a feeling much of what they tell us will lead us to look into our Hearts and find the place of Oneness and peace out of which the visions of the New Paradigm will be born.
”You ask what can you do? Easy – leave your mind and your constant thoughts and return to your heart. Inside your heart is a tiny place where all knowledge and wisdom resides. Whatever you need on all levels of your existence is there for you.
And in the human and earthly changes that we are surrounded by, and the incredible changes that are about to permeate our everyday lives, if you are living in your heart, Mother Earth will take care of you with her soft magical love, the same magical love that created this entire physical planet in the first place.
Remember who you really are, trust yourself, and open your eyes to the new beauty of a new Earth unfolding before you as we breathe. Peer past the darkness and destruction of the ending of this old male cycle. Do not look into Kali’s eyes. But put your attention on the budding life and light in the center of the vortex.
Like a seed, your future is only beginning to emerge out of the darkness, but someday you will look back and realize that all the fear and distress was only a dream created from the confusion of the ending of one cycle and the beginning of another. Death and life are part of the same circle.
Now, look into the Light and breathe deeply the joy of life. Eternal life without suffering was yours all along. Never were you ever separated from the Source. Live your life without fear. Live your life with open eyes and an open heart, and you will extend yourself into the next 13, 000 years here on Earth and far, far beyond.
