Global Emotion

Global Emotion

Story by: Julia Griffin

It is a beautiful, confusing, and inspiring time with the influx of spring and the cardinal cross. A few steps into the New Age show the necessity of growing, learning, and changing. Awakening is mastery, and many people are awakening at one time. Instability accompanies the grand step through time—it’s the experience of change. For those who have stepped into the heart space or taken steps through the invisible plane—reality moves, bends, and alters. Nothing and everything is the same.

A strange oscillation of emotion accompanies the experience of awakening as a higher frequency is held for a few hours or days. Following this experience, we often descend to the previous vibration of our daily reality. The dance continues until we hold the higher frequency through an act of will, and once it stabilizes, we experience “more light.”

The movement of the mind and emotions relates to awakening. When we grasp the beauty of the world of light, we immediately want to manifest our lives in a new manner. The heart desires an alignment with love, and the ego clings to “sameness.” Until the frequency stabilizes, we fluctuate between fear and love.

When many people pass through “an oscillation” caused by the moving toward the soul–instability occurs on a larger level. We experience an overwhelming amplification of any personal emotion, also known as a state of “global emotion.” Consider that emotions and events are somewhat connected in life, as it seems difficult to think about important events in the past, both good or bad, without feeling some emotion. When many people experience emotion, it feels like a global emotion.

In many ways, the current cardinal cross personifies this journey. The cardinal cross, with its four arms pointing to Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto, could refer to the changes brought about by awakening. In esoteric writings, the cross refers to the intersection between the physical and spiritual plane. By staying connected to and centering in the heart, it is possible to balance the two spheres, as well as our emotions, thoughts, and sensations.

At any rate, light rarely comes in a stable way. Raising one’s light level causes particles and waves to change their course, even in our immediate physical environment. It alters the frequency of our being—and the reactions of others. Many people believe a higher light level causes significant change in the DNA. (We know molecules respond differently to a high light level and an ordered energy field.) The point is: matter reacts differently around light.

Bigger Emotions

There’s a logical reason for larger emotions. We tend to mask our true feelings under the calm of adulthood, slowing moving away from feeling every moment. Alchemy states that mastery comes by flowing with and directing emotion. The physical body can amplify emotion, and part of awakening is the union of body and soul. Thoughts often direct emotion, and it’s important to discern the source of the internal and external dialogue. Does it come from the ego or the higher self?

Here are a few thoughts:

  1. In general, the average person uses emotion to identify with the collective consciousness through news and media, particularly in areas involving health, economy, disaster, and fear. In other words, they tend to stay aligned with group consciousness.
  2. People with a higher light level feel the emotion more. It may come as a fleeting thought, the repetition of someone else’s semi-conscious thought, or the waves of the people at the grocery store, but we descend into the emotion exuded on a lower level.
  3. We also feel emotions around patterns, significant events, and the people involved in them, especially when they think about us. This is more about clearing, but the emotions can feel very strong. We can also feel the emotions of the other people—even more than our own.
  4. Becoming “light” means becoming more intuitive so it is easier to read other people. We don’t necessarily want the information, but we receive it.

Quick Solutions

  1. We can ask for a higher frequency. Love and light vibrate above fear, anger, and lower emotions.
  2. We can imagine how it feels when we are divinely connected. We can meditate more so that we stay in the presence of our higher self.
  3. We can ask for more light and call in pink light (love) or blue light (protection) or violet light (transmutation to a higher level.)
  4. We can increase our energy level by paying more attention to what we do. Do our food and water nurture our bodies? Do we rest enough? Are our life activities sustaining?
  5. We can connect with the primal and beautiful harmonies of the earth. The physical world absorbs negativity and nourishes our bodies.
  6. Balance helps with everything as it is part of raising our light level. It’s important to find a balance between activity and rest, pleasure and work, meditation and daily life.
  7. Global emotion can feel wonderful. There’s almost nothing better than feeling others move into the light with the opening of the heart space. It’s also possible to expand this feeling by imagining peace and love flowing through the planet. If we learn to join together harmoniously—above the fray of the collective consciousness—we will learn the art of group creation while staying in harmony with the earth.

On a Higher Level

  1. We can project emotions like joy, peace, serenity, and calmness into our personal world as well as the area surrounding us.
  2. When others tell us of upset, we can envision calm or peace for them. It doesn’t matter if they change or not, the idea is to send a higher vision. Critical mass may come when we send an adequate number of higher vibrations!
  3. Restore nature by visualizing clean waters for the whales, positive energy sources, and wholesome food. Take action when you can, and realize it makes a difference.
  4. Recognize the source of emotion. Lower emotions like panic, sadness, tiredness, or anger may not belong to us at all, they may be part of collective consciousness. It never hurts to ask for a higher vibration, and we can also ask to know the truth about our emotions/thoughts and their source.
  5. It’s helpful to ask: what is my highest vision of the earth? What is my ideal life? In general, it’s about feeling love, happiness with others, and lack of struggle—but we all have a special picture. Our inner imagery helps in creating a positive outcome.
  6. It’s important to know we have the strength and power to rise above it. After all, love and light are the highest frequencies in the universe. They bring grace and skill in overcoming the most difficult problems as well as awakening our inner gifts.
