Feeling the Shift
Signs of the New Year appear in February through the swelling of the buds on trees, the emergence of the first flowers, and an occasional soft wind. The New Year is celebrated in early February with the Chinese calendar and Imbolc on the pagan calendar. Regardless, it’s when the year begins to turn toward life.
In February, we will continue to experience the long square Uranus and Pluto, the culmination of its action over the past three years. For many of us, we’ve lived through karma, darkness, and the heavy weight of carrying others with our light. Others have benefitted from our light and seized the opportunity to walk in a softer, more awakened way (which is lovely.) Some people have remained unaware of the shift, living life as they once did with anger about the changes in the world.
While everything feels a bit cloudy, like mixed good and bad, there is the growing power of the group. More people are awakening, meditating, and sending light. Spiritual teachings fill the internet. As the group grows and focuses, there is potential for great, positive change.
As the overall energy grows and increases our light level, we may have quantum breakthroughs—big, positive changes, which come in a flash. Perhaps, we will learn how to send waves of light and transform life through visualization. In the meanwhile, we are learning balance and the (sometimes) very rapid transfer of energy, which accompanies manifestation.
Higher or Lower?
Everyone is moving to a higher or lower frequency. It’s impossible not to feel the shift—even if it’s with frustration or lack of understanding about why nothing feels exactly right. (To those who have continued with their practices, the energy actually feels better with less heaviness and more hope.)
The current shift in the energy asks everyone if they are going higher or lower. By higher or lower, I mean a conscious energy shift. In the past, it was possible to stay on middle ground with a slight interest in spiritual work. Light workers were once identified by an interest in spiritual work and a willingness to open the heart. This pattern is changing. The universe asks for commitment. There are only two choices: to go up or down. The middle ground is evaporating as light strikes the planet.
It’s time to let go of the past, stay present as much as possible, and commit to a positive future. (It’s likely that reality will be experienced as higher or lower frequency, according to the placement of consciousness. I don’t know when, but I do feel the shift.)
We may question the motion of consciousness, but everyone is weary of carrying and shifting the darkness of others. One door opens, and another closes. We’re moving out of a lower frequency and into a higher one. By staying in the light—and working with devotion—our connection can lift us up into the new phase of “reality.”
Staying with love and light means choosing a higher frequency. It also means remaining faithful to the premise that light is stronger than darkness and sending love instead of hate is a more effective answer in the big picture.
We find the biggest answers in stillness when we cultivate the heart and the voice of the soul. Big answers come from big parts of our self—and the universe. (It’s good to stay informed, and it’s also good to stay out of fear. Ask for a wave of love and send it to world problems.)
Intuition, Emotion, and Others
As people feel the shift, they become more intuitive. We intuit and feel our friends and loved ones’ responses. Modern psychology may conclude many of our thoughts and feelings are empathetic responses to others. For example, our anger may come from an angry person. The same is true with grief and fear. Emotion and thought can be contagious, which is also true on a higher level.
Lower and higher emotions are associated with energy. People who lack energy often create discord or fear to gain energy from others. Of course, they are not aware of it. But it can be seen on an energetic level. Negative people thrive on negative energy and often create chaos. Positive people need positive energy thus exhibiting the need for spiritual music, chanting, meditating, etc. (The best idea is not to actively engage or argue with negative people.)
As we learn to detach from mass consciousness, we will have much more energy. We engage with the tide of mass consciousness through lower emotion. Mass consciousness is essentially a “cloud” of lower emotions and thoughts held by humanity at large. When we have difficulty shifting a mood or thought, we’ve connected to lower consciousness.
Example: You think a thought about money, health, or relationship. Suddenly, you’re obsessed with it. You can’t think of anything else. You feel panicked or experience anxiety. It’s not just your problem. You’re “picking” up on everyone else with the problem. (We can always ask for a state of higher consciousness or focus on light.)
Our Intuitions and Insights Will Change
Whenever we move more into the light, we receive an entirely new set of intuitions (and often night dreams.) It’s because we’ve opened to larger consciousness. It takes time to sort out intuitions as part of the information comes from the ego, and the other part comes from soul.
When we receive new intuitions, it’s good to record them in a journal and check for consistency and accuracy. If we’re incorrect, we know. We can also act more whole-heartedly on the accurate perceptions.
Altering the Illusion
For who have a spiritual connection, we’ve experienced the illusion—the moment when reality suddenly changed—and someone healed, our life changes, or the world felt much better. We’ve also experienced the solidity of the illusion as we work through old dreams, disappointments, and heartache. But I suspect as many people become “lighter”, much of the illusion will fade.
Light erases much pain in life, heals the heart, and gives hope. A higher vibration level changes the molecular space around us. Visualization alters the translation of reality through our eyes. Stillness connects us to our soul where much can change, flourish, and thrive.
