We stay connected through love
In last month’s issue the focus was on the outer planets, the“Super Powers,” because they have long lasting effects as well as setting the theme for our spiritual play. This time the focal point is on the inner planets, especially Venus and Mars. Mars as a fire sign is about action and discovery, while Venus, well known for being a planet of love and creativity, has shifted its attention from the air sign Libra (mental), to the earth sign Taurus. Who would have guessed that the plant of love has become practical and down to earth? It’s amazing how spirit keeps things in balance – like scales of balance that are the symbol of Libra.
In contrast, Venus was reassessing last month in a serious way in Capricorn. What we love brings powerful creative energy to help us manifest what is needed in our lives. So, on February 1st, Venus moves forward – after a retrograde in Capricorn, evaluating and prioritizing what is most valuable. Meanwhile, Uranus and its universal consciousness sweeps in with sudden lightning bolts of change. Therefore, what has been brewing for months, will now be set free to move forward.
With the help of Mars in Libra, which will be in the air sign for eight months (rather than the usual six weeks), it is time to take this opportunity to understand how you are connected to others through love.
The character of this love is not the kind typically connected with fleeting romance, but instead, one of depth and authenticity.
