February 2014 - 'Love and Intention'
This month’s focus is on intention. When we act, our intent is key. We should have the intention to be kind, generous, and genuinely concerned about the needs of others. It may be necessary to be self-interested or egoistic in order to survive sometimes, but we should take others’ interests into account as well. We are cooperative with the people we care about and we love them and trust them. “Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” ― Mother Teresa
