Crossing the Bridge
We are crossing the bridge from lower thought and emotion to an arrival at a world existing in higher frequency. The planet receives an influx of light at regular intervals through solar flares as well as shifts in the geomagnetic field. Everyone, with an open heart, is becoming more intuitive. Time flies and stalls depending on our consciousness.
In the days of summer heat, the alterations in the planetary frequency can feel challenging, making it necessary to find new insights in dealing with emotions, thoughts, and sensations. I have worked a great deal with emotions and thoughts over the past few months, and I’m sharing my thoughts and techniques that have been helpful during major energy shifts. (The energy shifts obviously involve leaving behind the lower self and stepping into a place of higher consciousness.)
Everyone is experiencing more emotion. It’s an important part of awakening, and there are many reasons for it. Dealing with emotion is challenging; yet, mastering emotion is essential to achieving a higher frequency. Understanding and following our feelings comprises a significant aspect of the spiritual quest.
Before exploring solutions, it’s important to understand why we are feeling emotion with greater intensity. In our society, we’re encouraged to push away emotion. Often, we don’t learn proper expression of our negative emotions. (Outbursts of any lower emotion deepen the emotion. It’s not conducive to a higher level of being.) But awakening brings our emotions to the surface. We must have awareness and acceptance of emotions to raise ourselves to a higher level of being.
Why are we experiencing more emotion?
Mercury retrograde separated us from left brain thinking, making us more aware of feelings. It also changed our perception of time and events. Actually, our awareness should stay in feelings—not the mind. We should develop the ability to distinguish intuitively between expansion/contraction or light/heavy feelings, but we are developing this ability—not relying on it—at this point in time.
Everyone is surrendering patterns, karma, personal darkness, and identity with their lower nature. When we are in this process, it’s normal to feel irritable or confused. We’re not accustomed to changing our identity so quickly. The big surrender comes from the influx of light.
Every few weeks, more light comes into our planetary sphere. Light alters the body, thoughts, and emotions. It’s not always easy to move into a higher sphere; it takes work and commitment.
Mass consciousness, the lower group-energy of the planet, radiates fear, confusion, anger, etc. When we move into a lower emotion, mass consciousness immediately amplifies it. It’s why we move from a flash of anger into a rage or how worry can move into total anxiety.
What do we do with the emotion?
Let’s start by remembering how love and light are the highest frequencies on the planet. Everything responds to love and light. (People have a choice, but events, outcomes, and emotion must yield to love and light.)
Step 1:
1) Accept the emotion. For example, I feel overwhelmed (or afraid, angry, frustrated.”) Admit it to yourself.
2) Notice when or why you feel this way. Example: I feel overwhelmed when I have too much work. (Other examples, I feel tired when I don’t sleep enough. Or I feel discouraged when I’m tired. You get the drift.)
3) Remember how the feeling/emotion passes when your physical or mental state changes.
4) Ask for disconnection with mass consciousness. Your feelings are amplified strongly by mass consciousness—everyone else who feels the same way. We are connected in group consciousness and “pick up” on everyone’s thoughts. As you become more intuitive and awakened, you become more susceptible to other people’s thoughts–which develops awareness.
5) Ask for a higher frequency and the feeling of your true self. Recall when you last felt this way. Pull the vibrations into your energy field.
6) Send pink light to you, your situation, and everything around you.
7) Meditate on the heart space and ask to see a solution.
NOTE: You can alter, minimize, or change the steps above.
Step 2:
1) Imagine a change in the situation. Imagine yourself in a different state.
2) If the emotions involve another person, imagine how you would feel in a calm state and could communicate in a detached way.
3) Ask: what does my true self really want? This leads us into self-realization and love.
4) Refrain from discussing problems or telling stories about negative emotions whenever possible. Express gratitude for the good parts of life. (It’s different to discuss this with someone who can help with energetic changes.)
Why Is Emotion Important?
Emotion travels in waves, just as energy does. We can project, receive, or store emotion. (We can also clear it.) When we want to calm ourselves or others, we can actually send a wave on an energetic level. Waves of emotion can lift us into bliss or bring us to our knees. Learning to understand emotion is part of the growth involved with the higher self.
The highest emotion is love. Lower emotions teach us how we lose energy, including the situations and people. They also teach us how we project lower emotion, judgment, and have limited thoughts.
In the big picture, it’s about finding and expressing love. It’s also how the planet is moving into love.
Sending Light
The colors of light symbolize specific qualities of energy, and pink light represents love. By sending light, we can transmute and alter many situations, and pink light is highly effective. The mystery of the heart space is represented by a rose in Hermetic studies. In early exercises, the lessons focus on imagining a perfect rose in the area of the heart. By focusing on the rose, it’s possible to understand the beauty of the heart space and its emanation of pink light when united with the universe.
Here are seven reasons you should consider working with it:
1) Everyone experiences pink light as unconditional love (on a conscious or subconscious level.) It’s wonderful to send to people you love, unsettled situations, or increased physical health. (There are specific colors for healing. But that’s a different matter–pink light is fine on a general basis.)
2) Sending pink light to worries and upsets often alters them, bringing resolution in a surprising manner. Think about it. You’re sending positive versus negative emotion to a difficulty.
3) It’s helpful to send pink light to goals for personal expansion. Think of it as loving your project and believing in yourself. Send pink light to unknown parts of the project. See yourself receiving information.
4) Your body responds to pink light. Send it to your face and body. Send it to any tightness or soreness. Feel the light expand through the tightness. When you send enough light, your body will relax. (We rarely send love to our bodies.)
5) Send pink light before sending emails or making phone calls. The emotion of pink light will precede your message, prompting a more positive response. (You can also send pink light to your checkbook, business, or clientele to increase business.)
6) Send pink light to friends, family, and others when they appear in your mind. Send it to pets, plants, and flowers. Send it to the planet. Send pink light to your future. As humans, we worry about the future. Isn’t it better to send love?
7) Sending pink light into your immediate environment raises the frequency, separating you from mass consciousness and connecting you with Divine Consciousness.
NOTE: You can work with any color. In general, light-blue light calms or cools down a situation. Green or emerald light brings healing although it also makes things grow (so don’t send it to mosquito bites, etc.) Violet light transmutes a situation into a higher frequency. You can research colors. In the big picture, sending light is far better than “thinking” until you feel connected and experience some detachment from the situation.
Creating Your Dreams
Staying connected with our dreams is one of the most important acts of our lives because it connects us to the true self. It also determines the flow of our life. Otherwise, our life repeats through the projection of the subconscious mind and its old patterns. When we focus on creating a new life—through spiritual connection—our lives change their flow and move toward greater happiness and inner knowing.
1) Begin by meditating on the desired outcome. See the image of your desire as already realized. Add the emotions of the accomplished desire. If you looked back at the fulfilled desire, how would you feel? Emotions are extremely important as they color the feeling of the desired outcome.
2) Repeat the process above 2x daily. Spend ten minutes in meditation in the morning and evening. Notice your feelings after the meditation. (Your feelings may change from time to time. Often, they switch from energized to a feeling of “it’s not working.” It’s okay. Continue the process.)
3) Use a laser-sharp one-minute visualization several times during the day. See the realized dream as completed. It’s helpful to do this if you find yourself thinking about the desire. It’s even more helpful to keep your mind OFF the desire at other times during the day.
4) Send pink light to your dream often. If you think about the desire, send light to it. Don’t think about it. Manifestation is more of a spiritual and feeling process—thinking about how, why, or when only slows it down.
5) Have patience and faith. Manifestation can occur almost instantaneously or take a long time. Everyone’s process is different. (don’t compare.) Manifestation also teaches us about our patterns, thoughts, and emotions that go in the opposite direction of the desire. It can take time to process the information and make subtle changes.
Manifestation is important because it expands our gifts and heightens our vibration. It connects us with the One/All. When we manifest from the soul, we bring these subtle vibrations into the world for anyone who desires the same type of change. It is a learning process, which teaches us to determine the difference between our higher and lower vibrations while tapping into Source. Of all the aspects of manifestation, the most important is the feeling of connection with the universe and the higher self.
The process is never completed; it returns with a new wave of inspiration—a desire to create bigger and better things. This is the pattern of co-creation, of learning about the soul and its inner resonance.
Julia Griffin, intuitive healer and owner of One True Self, began her work fifteen years ago under the tutelage of real wolves. The wolves taught her that true energetic motion is based on the soul and patterns of nature. Following their direction, Julia sees and reads energy, including animals, plants and people. She works with people in session to find their resonance with the soul, clearing patterns and alignment with their inner path.
