In the January 2001 "Tribal" issue of the Spirit of Ma'at, we presented an article about Anastasia. Here is another, written by Irina Sutokskaya, the incredible woman who leads the Flower of Life organization in Russia.

Several years ago, Russia was stirred up by the information about a remarkable being named Anastasia who lived in the midst of the Siberian forests (the Taiga) and possessed unique powers. This information was first published in a book called Anastasia, with a portrait of a beautiful blonde on the title sheet, and the caption: "I exist for those for whom I exist." This book divided the people who read it into those who believe it and those who don't believe. Here is her story. Readers may decide for themselves into which group they belong.

One able to understand will show his understanding by his own deeds, performing them in his house.
—Anastasia

The story concerns a young, beautiful woman named Anastasia who dwells in the Taiga, absolutely alone, practically without clothes or any stored food.

She is a descendant of people who have lived here for millennia and who seem to have a strikingly different civilization from our technocratic one. Anastasia was born here, in the Taiga, near her grandfather and great-grandfather, who are still alive and who pass to her the wisdom of previous generations.

She is an inherent part of Nature and exists in complete harmony with it. Trees, beasts, and birds surround and protect her. Her most devoted friends are a she-wolf, a mother bear, and a squirrel that brings cedar nuts straight to the palm of her hand. Anastasia is able to communicate with nature elements — beetles and other small insects give her necessary information about her environment — and at the same time she knows absolutely everything about the urgent problems of our ailing society, and is ready to help us.

Her mission is centered on helping people to pass through "the period of Dark Forces." She says, "My dream would destroy the mechanisms of the Dark Forces which have infected people for millennia. Under the influence of my dream, many would start working for the good."

There is no string in any Galaxy that can make a sound more beautiful than the music of a human Soul.
—Anastasia

Vladimir MegreThe information about Anastasia has come to Russia through a Siberian businessman named Vladimir Megre, whom she met when his ship stopped in a small settlement on the banks of the great Siberian river Ob. Anastasia fell in love with him and realized that he was the very man who would be able to pass her message to others.

Megre spent many hours with this "forest anchoress" (as he called her) on her favorite meadow of the forest where she lives, listening — and not knowing whether to believe or not to believe what she told and showed him.

She was telling him about her life, her vision of God and Man... about her most cherished dreams and innermost thoughts. He saw how wild beasts willingly obeyed her. He saw her demonstrate an extraordinary telepathic ability that enabled her to connect with any human being at any distance, and to see any problem or situation in our country.

At the same time, unlike other people with extrasensitive powers, Megre maintains, Anastasia does not want to look like a supernatural person. She willingly reveals the mechanisms of her working with people. She tells about her "Beam of Good" that she can direct to any person, illuminating him or her her with invisible healing and supporting Light, giving as a gift her feelings and aspiration to Light and Good. And if that person responds to her feelings, he or she "becomes brighter even in appearance, and illnesses start to vanish."

Anastasia maintains that everybody has this invisible Beam, and its force depends in the strength of our good feelings. But people are not aware about this beam, and so they simply cannot use it.

Anastasia told Megre that he was to write a series of books about her, and she committed him to write absolutely frankly about everything that he had learned from her or experienced with her — even about their intimate relations.

Those who manage to understand their destiny and the core of infinity begin to live happily, for they create the happiest infinity with their own thoughts.
—Anastasia

Megre turned out to be a very courageous man, and honestly did what she told him. Frankly and objectively, he described everything that he had learned and experienced, not being afraid to sometimes present himself in an unattractive light.

To this date, there are seven books in the series about Anastasia; Ringing Cedars of Russia, the seventh book, was just published.

Megre claims that his books have a certain charge: Specific combinations and formulas of letters are introduced there through Anastasia's power. As she herself says, "It is simply the translation of songs from the depth of Cosmos, eternity, and infinity, absolutely precise according to the terms of meaning, importance, and purpose."

These letter combinations are intended for healing and enlightenment of the reader. Peoplel feel these combinations, and the power of Anastasia's words starts to affect them, producing "unusual, beneficial, all-healing feelings in their souls."

One can believe this information or not believe it. But the books about Anastasia have created a powerful spiritual flow in Russia, with millions of people responding to them from their hearts. People write numerous letters, paint pictures, and compose verses and songs dedicated to Anastasia and Megre. Many centers and clubs named "Anastasia" have been created in different parts of Russia, and an Anastasia Coordination Center has been established in Moscow.

The books about Anastasia are "best sellers" in Russia, and on the wave of this success, other people have started to write their own books about Anastasia, claiming that they are receiving information from her. Whether that's true or not, the legend of Anastasia has given rise to a unique flow of knowledge that touches people's hearts, and these books have a right to exist and to be read by those who resonate to this knowledge.

Perhaps because Megre is a businessman, his books have actually reached the hearts of other businessmen, the kind who might seem to be very far from spiritual interests.

According to Anastasia's words, entrepreneurs are very strong people, but they are chained by their problems, problems that are aggravated many times by the reality of modern Russian life. They do not belong to themselves. They live with constant fears and troubles, not having enough time even to enjoy the results of their work. Anastasia believes that it is possible to help these businessmen by "strengthening their sincere spiritual communication with each other. They need an open striving to the purity of intentions."

Anastasia asked Megre to organize an association of entrepreneurs transacting business according to new, moral principles, and it is characteristic of Anastasia's influence that they decided to follow him. And so our businessmen, who are often skeptical even of the very word "spirituality," have heard Anastasia's call via Megre — a man of their circle speaking their language — and have responded to it. Even in his first book, Megre was already including the "Regulations of Entrepreneurs Association"— the Golden Catalogue of Russia.

This kind of powerful response by Russian society to the Anastasia phenomenon also may be explained by the fact that, in her desire to help people, she offers practical and accessible solutions to many urgent Russian problems. Never mind who got these pieces of advice from Anastasia and passed them on to people. The most important thing is that they are really needed now.

One of the first-priority problems she addresses — the ecological one — cannot be solved without restoring our lost bond with Nature and Mother Earth. Anastasia stresses that here a special role will be played by people living on the land and cultivating it with their own hands.

Among these people are her favorite datchniki [owners of dachas — country houses with garden space]. She believes that it is through them that Russia will be reborn, and she gives them unique advice on how, while planting and cultivating their land, they can introduce into the plants information about themselves in order to make the combination of chemicals in the grown vegetables and fruits beneficial for their health. Such a combination, she says, not only would heal disease but also would slow down the aging of the organism, cure it of bad habits, improve mental power, and confer inner peace.

A very little time will pass and people will begin to create Family books. Millions of parents will write the pages with their own hands. A great number of such books, books of Families, will be written. In every one, Truth from the heart will be passed on to children. And there will be no place in these books for covert statements. Before these books, historical lies will fall.
—Anastasia

Also unique are Anastasia's bits of advice on how to bring up children without suppressing them through adult stereotypes of behavior. "It is necessary," she says, "to stop violating their souls with our dogma." She teaches how to help children manifest the Divine Spark and understand the Essence of Life in Truth, Joy, and Love. Anastasia stresses the great responsibility of parents, who must create for their children a special Space of Love favorable for their growth and development. All parents, she says, should "give their children a gift — a space of love as wonderful as their mother's womb. Only there can children and their futures become happy."

In the Space of Love created on the land left to her by her parents, Anastasia is now bringing up her own son: little Vladimir, a fruit of her love for Vladimir Megre. The little boy is protected and nursed by a Mother Bear and Mother Wolf. Beetles and blades of grass play with him, and the old proud Eagle takes him high up to the skies, enabling this tiny human being to embrace our Mother Earth with his soul from above in the same way that little Anastasia herself did as a child.

Anastasia's advice on raising children is now being implemented in new schools that have been created in Russia. The children in these schools are unusually bright and full of light. Their eyes are luminous. They already know how to work with the Beam of Light — the "Anastasia Beam," they call it. These children perceive with their hearts Anastasia's dream: "Every human should create a small Space of Love around him. And if everybody understands and creates these, the whole planet Earth will become a luminous point of love in the Universe, just as He wanted it. And in this lies the Destiny of each human being. ... These children of the future will grow up and spread throughout the Earth, creating oases of this Space of Love until all the planet is filled with them."

The third of Megre's books about Anastasia, titled The Space of Love, contains another extremely interesting piece of information about the stone monuments of the past, the dolmens that are found all over the world. In Russia they are especially numerous in the Northern Caucasus.

Many people regard the dolmens to be ancient burial chambers. But Anastasia calls them "sanctuaries even more important than the Egyptian pyramids in their efficiency of contact with Universal Mind." Thousands of years ago, living people who were able to use the wisdom of the Universe would go into these chambers to die. Anastasia says that they went into eternal meditation, and there — in complete isolation, with all senses switched off — they reached states of perfect communication with Cosmic Mind, comprehending many phenomena and actions of living people.

The most important thing for these dolmen meditators was "to pass their knowledge later to their contemporaries and to the next generations." This spirit of wisdom is still alive in the dolmens and today everybody can come to them and get advice and answers to their questions.

Thus, another of Anastasia's dreams is being implemented today, as people turn to the wisdom of previous generations and, through them, are given the opportunity to contact the Universal Mind. Hundreds of people from different parts of Russia and even from abroad are visiting the dolmens that are situated on the Caucasian coast of the Black Sea. Many of these people have learned about the dolmens from Anastasia, through Megre's books

So this is the phenomenon of Anastasia that has affected Russia so much recently. Readers may sense for themselves whether it is true or not, but many people all over the world believe that Anastasia really exists. And many of them regard her a high embodiment of the Female Divine Aspect.
