Torquaret, Guardian Angel of Autumn says:

As glorious summer wanes, trailing her skirts of crimson, orange and gold, I reach out to touch my autumn leaves, echoing and deepening these colours. And as the leaves turn to ochre, russet and brown, it is your time of reckoning.

At the start of my Festival my warm amber wings are like autumn sunshine; they caress your spirit as the year inexorably draws to its conclusion, urging you to consider what you have achieved so far. Have you found greater fulfilment? Did the seed of your transformation that commenced with earth and re-birth, grow through the power of water, flourish in the sun and then lift into the potential of the endless horizon? If so, your heart rejoices and my honeyed sun feels sweet upon your face. But if not, then you must now re-evaluate matters in time for next year.

Then as the leaves fall, marvel at their beauty, and the living art that they make when they come to rest, but do not be sad! Hold always in your heart the promise of spring. For soon the skies will darken and fires will be lit to cleanse and purify the land; amber turns to bright flame as Uriel kindles Fire of Life above as well as beneath Mother Earth. Let this become your own flame of passion, allowing endings to ever empower another new beginning.

Feathered Dragon of Alchemy and Revelation

Feathered Dragon/Serpent is a primeval creature of alchemy offering you self-transformation arising out of grounding and balance. Dragon's vibration is a higher form of the Caduceus*, unified to embody both masculine and feminine energies. Dragon's golden body links to wisdom of fire and earth, while her silver feathers signify a connection to air and angelic grace. Dragon's tail ends with crystal feathers because she guards the Star Gate to higher consciousness and revelation. Dragon says that with masculine-gold and feminine-silver balance centred in your own heart, you have the power to retrieve her ancient knowledge of spiritual alchemy. When you harmonise your own gold and silver energy rays they flow from base of spine through each chakra forming two, perfectly symmetrical wisdom spirals that unify at your brow. Then, Dragon reveals that as you move your unified consciousness to crown level, yours are the silver wings for you stand at the Angel Star Gate.

About Angela McGerr

Angela McGerr spent over 30 years as a businesswoman before determining the need to bring a more spiritual focus into her life. In 1999, she was persuaded by her sister Joanna to follow her into the world of energy healing, with a view to being able to train others in self-healing.

On starting this path Angela immediately found her first white feather, having been told this was a spiritual sign from the angels! Angela's management consulting business disappeared within two months and she became immersed in deep research on the subject of Angelology: Angels and angelic support in daily life. In fact you might almost say that Angela was hi-jacked by the angelic realm for a year and fast-tracked in the history of winged messengers (Greek: angelos). She traced sacred writings on the subject through many belief systems back to the earliest recorded civilisation (Sumeria) and beyond, though Angelology itself derives from 2,000-year-old Essene writings.

Angela describes herself as a modern mystic, tasked with disseminating ancient, angelic wisdom combined with brand new channellings, in a 21st Century format suitable for today's audience. In the year 2,000, using simplified Essene philosophy with the addition of angels from all sources, she made a prototype set of angel cards, designed to promote healing and harmony, and then approached a publisher. She was commissioned to write her first book A Harmony of Angels, published by Quadrille in hardback in October 2001. This book sold successfully and has been continuously reprinted. On the strength of this, in 2002 Quadrille agreed to publish the Harmony Angel Cards — still Angela's best selling title so far. Angelic Abundance followed in September 2003, Gold & Silver Guardian Angels in September 2004, An Angel For Every Day in September 2005, Heart & Soul Angel Cards (a companion set for the Harmony Angel Cards) in August 2006. Most recent is The Angel Quest of the Heart (October 2007). All titles are still in print and translations are available in Dutch, French, German, Lithuanian, Czech and Slovak, with more in the pipeline. Special US editions have now been published. As at winter 2007 collective international sales of Angela's books and cards approach 700,000 copies.
