About Women

(From Our Male Readers)

Moving from the mundane to the Divine, I will throw in a few muddled thoughts about "woman" as I see, experience, and generalize about her in these times.

Having the capacity to create and bear new life has to be the primary, universal, eternal distinguishing feature of any woman — regardless of the degree to which that feature literally absorbs one's life, it has to color or characterize all manifestations of personality and relationships. Clearly, I regard this in a totally positive light, though we could afford to cut the numbers of new people coming in.

Because of the intimate biological/spiritual intertwining with nature's cycles, women to me are sources of wisdom — sometimes even despite themselves. They have forgotten a lot, but gradually they are returning. We desperately — repeat, desperately — need Woman's innate wisdom and generally nurturing approach to life (primarily to her offspring's life) to counterbalance the hypertrophied male aggression aspect of our society. Not to dominate, but to balance. There is a survival-oriented dynamic equilibrium between the sexes that needs to re-emerge at this time.

So, within that context, I as a male am continuously drawn to women of any age, race, body-type, socio-economic background — to the degree that She is living in and exuding that awareness somehow. I feel drawn to women who seem comfortable in themselves — also, to women who may not be comfortable, but are conscious of that, and growing in change.

The capacity for love is mysteriously very different in its "wiring" in a Woman. This is incredibly intriguing, when it is not blunted in some way by simple unawareness, fear, of bizarre programming. Our commercial society still has enormous hypnotic control specifically over women's consumption patterns through media imagery, and I make all my women friends among those who are specifically choosing their own directions beyond those narrowly defined channels.

Among the women I associate with, there seems to be a widening band of allowable contact or exchange. This is post-Sexual Revolution, as far as I can tell, and is much richer and more multi-dimensional. I think this direction has a very promising future — if men will give up some of their compulsive idiot blood rituals and keep up. We should all slow down and get to know each other after several centuries of enforced separation followed by enforced phony engagement.

I see a very definite change in store for lots and lots of women. This is of course with the truthful and required statement that, I as a man, know little to nothing about women. The mystery of the female shall remain the same until they (the women) decide to tell us guys their secret. That said, for most of us men — we enjoy the challenge of being played with, having our money spent, and being told what to do, how to act, what to wear, to pick up everything, including all their stuff and so on.

For me, just past 50 years I find little has changed.

When a chance meeting of attraction knocks me in the head, there is still the sweaty palms, nervous gestures, the thickening of the tongue to nearly the point of being chocked. Why wouldn't we like girls, if only to go through those wonderful uncomfortable situations which remind us of who is really in charge.

On a Spiritual level is where I see the coming changes. Hold onto your hats guys as equality of the sexes is creeping up on some of the lads who may have some old fashioned ideas of the rules. News flash! There are no rules. I have been waiting for the coming of the power shift to equality between the girls and boys. Empowerment is not just a catchy phrase. They are "getting it" and I feel the Saturation point of group consciousness shall arrive sooner than later.

Per an assumed normal reaction to new found power, some may exercise just a bit of payback. Boys, it may serve you all well to learn to cook and clean.

Newspaper sales are down. Not because of the Internet or better TV. We just haven't the time before or after work to read it anymore. Has any one noticed there are more men in the grocery store than ever before? Wonder why? Write your own list...here is a portion of mine on how they get us to do stuff.

  • Women naturally smell better than men.
  • Women are cleaner creatures than men.
  • Women have much better communication skills. They remember stuff from years ago and drop it on us at the perfect moments.
  • Women multitask way better than men all with babies in tow.
  • Women are natural in the area of nurture.
  • Wonder why grade school teachers are majority of women? Because, men deal with chaos so poorly and children have no problem challenging false power.
  • Men seldom go to Tupperware parties, yet there are lots of gals at the boat show. It is a trick guys.
  • Women plan all the parties.
  • Women shop better and naturally gravitate to the best bargains. This does not always include their taste in men.
  • Decorating.....need I say a thing?

There isn't much remaining for guys. We can't even work on cars much any more — computer chip technology. So, we are left with fishing, bowling, and ball games on TV. A nine-to-five which barely covers the mortgage in two weeks pay. A part time job to make the ends meet. Won't be long… we just have to give it all up to the Creator and admit. The girls beat us at our own game. There are no rules.

Yet, I being ever hopeful and by the Laws of Attraction, run into women well on the path. Already knowing, mostly needing unconditional confirmation — that it is more than OK to be empowered. It is essential.

I indeed Love people and the observation of them in their lives — wishing a clear mind and heart for all in their exercise of the discernment necessary to grow in Body Mind and Spirit.

Thank You Bless you all
