Since I can remember, I have looked up at the night sky waiting for something to move…I had no need for scientific proof about the existence of life outside of the earth. I knew it existed. I think that the difference between a believer and one who seeks scientific proof is that the latter is looking for ways to confirm what they believe. I believe that we all know…somehow and from somewhere…we know.
So what would we consider to be proof? Sightings and events are all over the internet and in the media as well. Are we waiting for a Government official to make a statement? Will that then be proof? And in any case, those who are not wondering whether there is life outside of earth are not interested anyway and those who are asking this question seldom need proof!
My favorite time is when I lie down and look up at the sky filled with stars – the moon is not yet risen – my eyes adjust to the glow of the sky. Some parts of the sky seem more dense than the others, some stars brighter than the others and then I like to imagine that there is someone on some other far away speck of light that is looking at this speck we call earth and wondering what I am wondering – is someone looking back! Am I connecting with another being somewhere? I have yet to meet an astronaut but would love to one day and then spend time inquiring as to what they see and feel when they are up there.
Several times, I have seen lights moving in the sky. Can I prove that they were not satellites or a man made device? I cannot and I do not feel the need to make someone else agree to what I saw. I watch the UFO videos on the Internet and if you have not seen any, believe me there are 100s of videos. Some of the videos are obvious hoaxes but many others are left to one’s interpretation. So how do I decide whether I want to believe or not? I go with my heart and how I feel about it. In fact I think that is what is known as intuition…the feeling that one gets.
I have the same feeling about crop circles too. I am intrigued by the paranormal and I am just using a popular term to make a point. “Paranormal” is absolutely normal to me. Time travel, black holes, inter-dimensional wormholes, etc. they are all real to me. I have a keen interest in the same things that fascinated Erik Von Daniken, Zachariah Sitchin and Dolores Cannon to name a few. I have been drawn to visit the stone circles at Avebury and Stonehenge, to the Inca heritage of Peru, the temples of Cambodia, the pyramids of Mexico etc. At all of these places I have felt something – a tingling – an excitement. Is that my imagination? Was that feeling due to what I had read and seen and maybe that is what created the experience? I do not believe so. I did really feel something different.
Consider this – even before I read anything on the topic or listened to anyone speaking about their experiences, I believed in UFOs. So how did I know they existed? Why did I believe in them?
The sky fascinates me and to this day, I can spend hours watching UFO videos and my imagination runs wild when watching Star Wars or Interstellar.
So to be clear, when I refer to space in this writing, it is about distance and dimensions that I refer to and not to space as in space travel or space craft. Yes, they are connected but I think our language has limitations in words and their perceived meanings. How I wish we could all feel each other’s thoughts and have no need to write or speak! But then how would we narrow in or filter out the million thoughts flying around? (Oh my, that is for another conversation friends.) Coming back to the space in the sky – what that says to me is we are limitless. Aaah…space…time to get lost amongst the stars. Do you like that as well? 🙂
