A New Gift for a New World

In this season of Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere, we are drawn inward to a time of contemplation. Entering into the void that long dark nights and planetary energies sculpt around us lets us come into a nourishing rest for the year to come.

During this next year we will be balancing on top of the fence separating 'what was' and 'what is coming.' This balancing act will require a great deal of attention and care to our physical body's health. We will also need some extra stamina to pay exquisite attention to the details. When making a decision, it is the details that will indicate which path will lead us forward into 'what is coming' or backwards into 'what was.'

We are creating a new world, and from this moment forward the resulting first outlines its form are easier for everyone to see. It is appropriate to have a care around who plays with which of the new forms that are emerging; be they in healing, finances or eco-energies. Just as a young child is exposed to only certain information and experiences, so too we each may find ourselves choosing what to share, and when to share it with others.

For so long we have not distinguished well between the two heart chakras in the human body. Now is a time to do so. The traditional, or lower heart chakra is where we know ourselves as being and expressing unconditional love. It is the upper heart chakra, connected to the thymus gland, that we are now learning about. It is up and into this chakra that we focus all of the unconditional love of the lower traditional heart chakra. As we tune all of our love and let it pass through the High Heart, our love becomes as potent as a laser beam, and yet as soft as the petal of a flower, wafting on breeze.

The High Heart is a gift formed from our love of humanity. This gift, carved into physical form and placed so close to the human heart, is meant to direct the heart, much as turning a paddle gently guides a canoe.

'Follow your heart' truly means to follow the guidance that has already been placed within you. How else can Spirit speak to you, but through this gift given to you? One is never afraid of one's strength when that strength comes from a heart in true alignment with Spirit.
