The Mystery
of Global
Crop Circles

It's been about 30 years since the English pilot and world-renowned crop circle researcher Busty Taylor discovered the first modern circle in his homeland. He told me that as he was flying his plane, he saw some strange phenomenon in the grain, and immediately landed and drove back to see what this was in the field. He said that he had never seen anything like it before. In retrospect, it was one of the simplest circles ever: just a single circle with a cross in the middle, like a Native America Medicine Wheel. It was the beginning of a lifetime of research both for Busty and the world.

Now here we are, after over a quarter of a century of research, and we still don't know who is creating crop circles or why they are doing it. It is still truly a modern mystery. Sure, there have been the Doug-and-Daves that have manipulated food fields with boards, mostly cereal crops, into circles. Yes, there has most definitely been a great deal of forgery across the globe in the creation of the world's crop circles. But admitting to the forgeries still does not account for the "real" crop circles that have been witnessed everywhere.

How do I know there are "real" ones?

bent grain in real circle This bend is normally seen about an inch off the ground at the plant's first node. The plants appear to be subjected to a short and intense burst of heat that softens the stems to drop just above the ground at 90 degrees where they re-harden into their new and very permanent position without damaging the plants. Plant biologists are baffled by this phenomenon, and farmers, who know how the land ticks, are also at a loss to explain it. It is the primary factor for identifying the real phenomenon. Research and laboratory tests suggest that microwave or ultrasound may be the only method capable of producing such an effect.

One scientific fact is clear: Forged circles are dead, and real circles are alive, literally. In forged circles, body weight was used to push flat boards into the crops to create the effect of the different heights of the grain. But real circles are "grown" in place, not force-formed by human hands. Science has shown that a 90-degree elbow is formed in a "real" circle where the crop is bent.

Also, because of how they are created, the forged circles die very quickly, since the stocks have been broken by the body weight. But the real circles keep living and growing, because the plant itself actually "grew," very quickly it seems, into the shape of the circle. And after that, the grain just keeps right on growing.

Further, the work of Colin Andrews has recently scientifically proved a new aspect of the crop circles that was not known until just a few weeks ago. Andrews has discovered that, unlike a forged circle, which leaves nothing, a real circle leaves a magnetic imprint of itself registered in the landscape and atmosphere directly above it. You can see this for yourself in his Magnetrometer Survey report, reprinted in this issue: definite proof that whoever is creating these real circles is not using boards.

The existence of the magnetic imprint still does not rule out that humans are not somehow doing this. But it is proof that the board-stomping Doug and Daves are not doing it.

When you read Freddy Silva's well-researched paper, Crop Circles and the Music of the Spheres, another possibility emerges, one that has been capturing the minds of many circle researchers for years now. Could the circles be created with or through sound? Or possibly microwaves? The study of cymatics — how sound affects matter — suggests strongly that this is possible, and Freddy's article makes it all very easy to understand.

And don't forget, these "crop" circles also have appeared in sand, snow, and crusted snow, without a chance that human feet touched the ground. They had to have been created from above the land. They could not have been made by people using mechanical methods.

Many people who have witnessed a crop circle being formed report that the entire process only took about 10 to 15 seconds — but there is no scientific proof of this that we are aware of. The video "proofs" that have emerged so far have been forgeries in themselves. Many of you may have seen, for example, the video of two spheres of light moving quickly around a field, and then immediately a crop circle appears. This video has been proved by Busty Taylor to be a fake.

The only thing we know for certain is that all the circles created worldwide were manifested in less than a single night. This, of course, puts huge restrictions on the possibilities of how they were created, since the time is so short.

The direct or actual interpretation of the geometry of the circles is another fascinating subject. Is something being said to us through the language of 'Sacred Geometry" that we are just beginning to understand? And there are those who are studying the "location" of the world's circles to see if there is an intelligent pattern in their distribution.

It is clear that Sacred Sites around the world are inter-linked with crop circles, since almost all the circles of the world are found near a sacred site, and very often are related to that site's ancient history. And like Sacred Sites, crop circles seem to have a definite effect upon those who visit them. Could the link to Sacred Sites be a clue to the crop circles' origin?

Assuming that there are "real" crop circles, what does it all mean, and what is being said? Here the Spirit of Ma'at has several authors and researchers who have their ideas, information and points of view — a kaleidoscope of the human mind. What they have to say could enhance your own personal understanding.

Until the full analysis is complete, we here are going to continue to study this amazing phenomenon. Whatever the truth is, it needs to be known and understood.

If it is just a modern-day genius Doug and Dave, but using secret scientific equipment, then let's discover their method. But if it is a higher intelligence speaking to us, which many have suggested, perhaps our very survival may be at stake. "They" could be giving us essential information and knowledge.

So let's all combine our personal knowledge and evidence and solve this incredible global mystery. There have been over 10,000 crop circle worldwide, and we sophisticated but rather silly humans still can't seem to figure out this enduring and exciting puzzle.

In love and service,

Drunvalo
